The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025. This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.

It's not a current issue going on, but every now and then it's good to mention that capital punishment is cruel and disgraceful and unconstitutional and we should just not do it. Not merely because we know that innocent people are also wrongfully convicted and killed by the state. No one should be.

#ffxiv Endsinger extreme wasn't actually bad. It was just underwhelming as spectacle after Shinryu and Hades. It was just a regular extreme instead, and one a little on the hard side, especially with quad planets near the end, and some particularly potent body checks with the towers.

I cannot imagine that what comes after Krakoa will be anything but a disappointment. These last few years of X-Men were groundbreaking and empowering. Fascinating sci fi, grand fantasy, and a hated and feared people finally getting to flourish. That was something truly to aspire to.

The newly announced RTS, Zerospace, looks pretty cool. It's going to need to set itself apart from Starcraft and Stormgate. So far, it has a really good aesthetic, though. The Grel have that unique plant theme, and that differentiates them from the Zerg really well. Solidly looking forward to it.

The new forest zone in Tural is said to have foliage so dense that the light seldom reaches the ground. This is the same theme for the Black Shroud and the Rak'tika Greatwood. Final Fantasy XIV needs a new idea for a forest.
