Haven't played Townfall yet, but this is one thing I really liked about F - while sometimes the symbolism is a bit on the nose (Shiromuku essentially being an empty wedding dress is almost painfully clear), there's enough layers of interpretation and things to chew on that it never feels like it's

Final Fantasy 9 is one of the first games I ever beat myself, and FF7 and 8 kept me and my sister close despite being separated by a divorce. Lotta good memories with this series

You don't even need to get into how they messed up the functionality ("do we already have something that happens when you swipe left? I'm sure it's fine"), because carousels are only "good" for product showcases. They can switch between images automatically. That's the use case.

There is within me an unslaked hunger for preposterous adventure movies. I resist the bad ones, but when a "Congo" or an
"Anaconda" comes along, my heart leaps up and I cave in. "The Mummy" is a movie like that. There is hardly a thing I can say in its favor, except that I was cheered by nearly every minute of it. I cannot argue for the script, the direction, the acting or even the mummy, but I can say that I was not bored and sometimes I was unreasonably pleased. There is a little immaturity stuck away in the crannies of even the most judicious of us, and we should treasure it.
