Apparently "Ó hEaghra" is pronounced "O'Hara", which means that this player, who plays for Dunwich Submariners, is now my favourite player (possibly of all time):
The player card for Masaharu Ó hEaghra - pronounced Masaharu O Hara.

An almost unbelievably strong line-up in the wicker man this sacrifice. Some serious reshuffling about to go down.

A bumper set of tarot cards drawn this week, including a big boost for existing legend Chantha Bell.

Long serving Chichester Roman, Hakim Haak, is the one who nobody saves, and is sacrificed to the Wicker Man. He does not go quietly, and the Romans are dishonoured. They'll suffer next season.

After a brief delay due to too much celebrating in Oxford, the festival has now started. The artifact race was genuinely very close this season, with only a few runs/catches in the sceptre and crown competitions.

Kusuma Agresta - who had a particularly underwhelming season - is chosen for the sacrifice. We've chosen well, and the Wicker Man is pleased. We can all rest easy for another season.

The main artifacts are presented, with two Hipsters represented. Both are moulded in broadly positive ways.

Here we go, a little late as the hosts try to prepare for an event of this size.

This season the only Hall of Fame inductee was Nyazik Albert. She won the league a record 5 times, won the Bowling Orb a record 4 times (nobody else has more than 2 artifacts), and has taken the most wickets ever with the 2nd best Economy Rate of all time. She's one of the easiest picks we've had.
The career card for Cricklet player Nyazik Albert.

The Navigators look best placed to profit from this auction. We could see carnage here.

The Yellow Almanack's Rookie of Season 13 was Kealeboga Sargent, Bamburgh's ambitious dreamer. They had an impressive season when bowling, and posted an almost-average 97 SR+ with the bat. They were so impressive they were chosen for the Wicker Man, but were rescued from the flames by Tamworth.
The summary stat block for Kealeboga Sargent, showing their season stats for Season 13. They had a Strike Rate + of 97, an Economy Rate + of 129, and a Fielding Rate + of 93.

Noriko Fierro is our only Hall of Fame inductee this season. A strong batter who won the Batting Sceptre in their final season, they were also a top 20% bowler. They won the league a record four times, including the first ever season with their hometown club, the Bristol Lovers.
A hall of fame statistics card for Noriko Fierro, showing that they are 3rd all-time for runs scored, high score, and 100s.

The Green Man's Auction has begun. Just looking at the duck counts, York are going to absolutely clean up.

Congratulations to the Winchester Monarchs, who win an unprecedented double (league plus Colt Cup), despite some accusations that they "bought the league" at the Green Man's Auction. The Wicker Man Festival will start shortly; watch along here: cricklet.live

Winchester in general feel like the big winners: they gain Opeyemi, Carroll and Ismayilov (and keep Saniyya and Albert). Canterbury also did well, buying Malloye and Cosic. Verdict on everyone else: unclear.

Everyone's always asking how the current crop of Cricklet players fit the traditional D&D alignment grid. Well, ask no more. (NB. This has not been signed off by either the Wicker Man or the Green Man.)

Finally, Mehr Róg. Made over 600 appearances, primarily as a bowler, taking the 3rd most wickets of all time and posting the 6th best single bowling appearance (18 runs allowed and 8 wickets taken).

Yakub Symonds was a one club player, featuring 592 times for the Oxford Academicals and winning the league twice with them. A fairly average batter and slightly better than average fielder. Didn't really bowl.

Patsy Petrov also played in all 11 seasons, mostly for the perennially second placed Canterbury Archbishops. Never won anything but came close, with decent if not spectacular numbers across the board.
