Wins Above Replacement (WAR) is a controversial statistic in cricket, but it's a common stat in baseball in particular and a lot of people have worked on converting it. Essentially it asks how many wins a player's batting, bowling and fielding has caused compared to a replacement-level player.

This season the only Hall of Fame inductee was Nyazik Albert. She won the league a record 5 times, won the Bowling Orb a record 4 times (nobody else has more than 2 artifacts), and has taken the most wickets ever with the 2nd best Economy Rate of all time. She's one of the easiest picks we've had.

The Yellow Almanack's Rookie of Season 13 was Kealeboga Sargent, Bamburgh's ambitious dreamer. They had an impressive season when bowling, and posted an almost-average 97 SR+ with the bat. They were so impressive they were chosen for the Wicker Man, but were rescued from the flames by Tamworth.
