We spent those 2 years constantly fielding bills no insurance would pay and being threatened with collection calls. IT NEVER GOT RESOLVED. In the end we had to pay out of pocket and felt supremely cheated. They got away with it.

Fwiw United Healthcare sucks immensely. When my first kid was born, we made the mistake of double-insuring him through me and his dad, who had United. The result was both insurance companies claimed the other was primary AND PAID 0$ towards my kid’s first 2 years of healthcare.

Really informative, ty! I’ve only watch the section on Emily so far but I had no idea how bad that was, yikes. I do remember the movie character and thinking there might be a twist where she wasn’t what she seemed, but instead (eg) a werewolf that had lost her leadership role in combat… lol no 😐
