Glad to see, but this really should not have happened in the first place! Can only imagine the stress Dave and Richard were under with this.

Honestly I appreciate the comments. It might not seem like it but it is genuinely something we do try and stay across and aware of. In previous articles I have mentioned more about the whole IPO aspect of it all. So I appreciate you reaching out and sorry again if came off wrong, not my intention

It's close but got to be The End for me!

Laura Cress @cressup.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

I'm sorry I didn't mean to accuse you of not reading! I just didn't know what you meant by you couldn't see the criticism, but you meant it wasn't criticism to you. I thought you'd just gone off the headline. Apologies anyway, things come off wrong by text.

Laura Cress @cressup.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Given the Hugging Face incident / other similar incidents her criticism relates to concerns over cyber security in the future, and how little that appears to be something these big companies are willing to be regulated on

Laura Cress @cressup.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

I did engage? Professor Gina Neff is not playing into a narrative. Her criticism is valid.

Laura Cress @cressup.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

I can't help you if you can't read the article I'm afraid!

100

Laura Cress @cressup.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Except there is criticism in the article of just that.

Can't speak for each outlet but feels like we've hopefully got lots of great coverage planned for GTA coming up on the BBC - I get the sentiment about TV coverage / bulletins specifically though. That said the BBC did cover Lost Records & it came out in 2025 so can't see the correlation to GTA!
