I can't speak for the other moments but it's interesting to note the reason the Daffy is 2D in the first shot of the movie but 3D for the rest is because its directly traced from a Looney Tunes Cartoons short

The movie is the same thing, just on a much larger scale. They obviously love paying tribute to Back to the Future in the same way they love all the movies they parody, but I really can't tell how the actual stories they each tell are similar besides them involving time travel.

Cree @cree.place · 03/07/2026

I think you'd have a heart attack if you actually watched the series. Every episode is a "parody" of a different movie but none of them actually follow the plot of said movie. They usually reference stylistic elements or specific lines but they always integrate it into their own original story.

This is such a ridiculous take, if you actually lay out and compare beat for beat what happens in each movie they are absolutely nothing alike. The closest you can get is the climaxes both involve a time machine on wheels but can you honestly say storywise that they are at all similar beyond that?

1. What's keeping their hands attached to their bodies? And relatedly, what keeps Limes overalls up. 2. Where do they talk and eat out of? Is it the same place they defecate? 3. Do they have two eyes under their visors or is the visor itself just one big eye and if so, how's their depth perception?

Was there any discussion over what the backpacks actually were and whether they'd be able to take them off? I had always interpreted them as oxygen tanks attached to their spacesuits.

So I wrote and boarded an episode of Regular Show called "Hello China" that was just the story of me living as a teacher in China, as told through the eyes of Benson. Someone that attended the school I taught at just found it and I'm so happy: www.reddit.com/r/regularsho...

From the regularshow community on Reddit: I'm literally from the Chinese high school in which Benson taught in season 7, and episode 15 of Regular Show: Hello China！！

If Paramount had anyone smart working for them they'd make this for sale immediately.

Please watch and share my new pilot called Deathahedron! It took me a year to make it, it's made almost entirely with little models that I made and shot in my backyard. I had to make the costumes, hand animate the effects, it's a labor of love! V----CLICK HERE----V www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FNC...

Have you seen the TV show? Think it'd be right up your alley

This played endlessly on Cartoon Network in the early 2010s for some reason. I never need to hear the first 2 lines of Animals Crackers ever again.

Netflix forced that on them apparently. Rian has said he wants it to be "A Benoit Blanc Mystery"

Not to spoil anything but this is actually something that's touched on in the newest film. Not super heavily but it does add a layer to his character that winds up being important. Curious to know what you think after you see it.

My friend @cree.place made this cool meme about Pluribus! It’s about how Mrs. Pluribus didn’t want a hand grenade even though she asked for one!!

A Spongebob fish baby crying to his Spongebob fish father saying

“I DON'T WANT A HAND GRENRGWIUJOEFISCOIUPJAELKDAEJOFIJAOI”

The fish father replies with

“FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK”

applying for jobs again

screenshot from an online job application form. the question reads "Can you describe specific ways you have integrated AI tools into your development workflow? Please include any custom setups, automations, or use cases beyond single prompt usage" (a red asterisk indicates that this is a required question).

an answer has been typed in the textbox below the question:

"there is a monster in the forest and it speaks with a thousand voices. it will answer any question you pose it, it will offer insight to any idea. it will help you, it will thank you, it will never bid you leave. it will even tell you of the darkest arts, if you know precisely how to ask.

it feels no joy and no sorrow, it knows no right and no wrong. it knows not truth from lie, though it speaks them all the same.

it offers its services freely to any passerby, and many will tell you they find great value in its conversation. “you simply must visit the monster—i always just ask the monster.”

there are those who know these forests well; they will tell you that freely offered doesn’t mean it has no price

for when the next traveler passes by, the monster speaks with a thousand and one voices. and when you dream you see the monster; the monster wears your face."
