I woke up and looked over at my digital bedside clock - the hour was changing every half-second. I realized i had placed my package of sleepy-gummies on top of the clock, and the hour change button. I removed the package and the time stopped at 5:01 am. i checked my phone and it was 5:01 am.

my car dreams of this past week: four dudes collectively named “taint” stole, ran over and flattened my car. i drove a tesla to drop my brother off at middle-school (he is 30) but the drivers seat was atop a metal frame high above the body of the car- like one of those circus tall bikes.

It shouldn’t ever feel like you have to override your own body to be part of a community. Some people need space, time, or distance. Let folks self-regulate, respect their anxieties and inhibitions in community as important. I find the call to transcend those discomforts to be a warning sign
