Yellowstone’s oldest wolf, 1090F, is the matriarch of the Mollie’s pack - descendants of the first wolves rewilded into the park in 1995. Due to low snow, the Mollie’s left the refuge of the park and are in an area about to have a wolf hunt. The pack will be slaughtered if the hunt isn’t stopped.

Wolf 1090F is 12 years old, and is the matriarch of the Mollie’s, named for Mollie Beatty, first female head of US Fish and Wildlife, who carried the first wolf into Yellowstone in her arms. The family was first known as the Crystal Creek Pack.

It’s a gutting of how the Endangered Species Act works. While you still can’t kill an endangered species, because it would cause it “harm,” Now you can destroy its habitat, food, water, shelter, breeding grounds. This is no longer a “harm.” It’s a way to make it easier for industries to extract.
