Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 23/07/2026Remasters of select episodes of Hijitus were just uploaded to Lumiton I'm so happy to see these remasters finally get shown off, I never thought I would ever see Hispanic animation anywhere close to quality like this The old DVDs are bested in video and audio I hope more follow 082
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 09/07/20262026 a great year for classic OVA remasters Thank you Toei Video 021
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 12/06/2026Dororon Enma-kun's blu-ray looks pretty nice Even despite it being a Best Field release with 25 eps over two BD50s it still manages to have good grain retention with not a lot of overly visible blocking The source 35mm scan is also excellent with great color Very happy with it 100

Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 17/04/2026The ride never ends I bought the Combattler V LD BOX literally a month ago to the day, and now an HD remastered BD is being put out? I will never escape the Robot Romance Trilogy 130
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 04/04/2026They dangled a 5K remaster in front of my face like a keychain in front of a baby and it's been radio silence since last year Come on man you can't do this to me, once I know it exists I need it in my hands 000

Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 19/09/2025Hijitus DVD boxes arrived, from *Canada* of all places I love all the new art all over the set and in the included PC wallpapers The encoding isn't amazing but I wasn't expecting much out of Latino DVD authoring anyway Hopefully I can find the movies box set someday as well 021

Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 03/09/2025If you had told me a year ago that Queen Millennia had been licensed in the US, I might have believed you If you had told me *Sentai* was the licensee, I'd have told you to lay off the Sprite I still cannot believe this BD is real 010

Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 28/04/2025AnimEigo's BD of Nobody's Boy Remi (and MXC set 1 lol) arrived Remi has been one of my top dream licenses so I am absolutely ecstatic to see it release also MXC is funny 011
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 26/04/2025While it's a complete coincidence, EMOTION putting out a 4:3 release of Romeo a few months after AnimEigo puts out theirs is a bit of a kick to the nuts Guess I'll buy both Not a fan of the amount of episodes per disc, I've only seen MediaOCD pull that off without problems 010

Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 21/02/2025It is a little annoying that incredibly obscure shows get a brand spanking new sharp 2024 HD scan and shows with any popularity get reused probably early 2010s scans with bad filtering 120
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 21/02/2025UFO Robo Grendizer DVD vs. BD: slow.pics/c/5v3rl7kj Unfortunately, this to me looks like an old scan they had lying around that they "fixed" up The color grade is the only thing I really like about this, filtering is meh We will have to see how they handle Daikengo I guess 194
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 21/02/2025New BD package from Japan The Graduate Kadokawa BD (encode is reported to be best worldwide) UFO Robo Grendizer Vol.1 I am so scared about Grendizer man Toei *please* 120

Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 29/01/2025Really curious how the 3D effect actually worked; nice they were able to source glasses 010
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 28/01/2025Voltes V, Grendizer, Mako-chan, and now this Clearly, Toei is remastering for the Sickos, and idk if I should be for or against thismedia.tenor.coma black and white cartoon of a man holding a sign that says ' sickos ' .ALT: a black and white cartoon of a man holding a sign that says ' sickos ' . 010
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 24/01/2025Maho no Mako-chan BluRay The remaster looks well done unfortunately it's licensed to Best Field so the encoding is really mid/bad There is very little restoration but the color grade is good I am amazed they give this treatment to really obscure shows but not their "crown jewels" 1105
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 19/01/2025Finally won a listing of the The Ultraman LDs that wasn't for an absurd price Interestingly, it advertises including the dubbed EP14 which was done for a NYC TV station's "Japanese TV special" thing, don't think that's been ripped before 100
