Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 15/09/2026How could you tell it was SUPer vs. another ASS converter? 100
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 22/08/2026I think a lot of the Eurobeat songs are from outside Japan, actually IIRC a major reason they used them was because Avex had such an extensive library of Eurobeat music 020
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 02/08/2026I don't blame Discotek whatsoever for deciding this isn't worth full HD 070
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Part 2 is not an upscale, it is a new film scan, however it's a very bad master with horrible filtering that ruins detail and adds ghosting in dark areas of the image (poor Jigen) 3160
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 23/07/2026Remasters of select episodes of Hijitus were just uploaded to Lumiton I'm so happy to see these remasters finally get shown off, I never thought I would ever see Hispanic animation anywhere close to quality like this The old DVDs are bested in video and audio I hope more follow 082
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 09/07/20262026 a great year for classic OVA remasters Thank you Toei Video 021

Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 12/06/2026Dororon Enma-kun's blu-ray looks pretty nice Even despite it being a Best Field release with 25 eps over two BD50s it still manages to have good grain retention with not a lot of overly visible blocking The source 35mm scan is also excellent with great color Very happy with it 100
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 21/05/2026Unfortunately I'm not even sure if it *can* be licensed outside of France 000

Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 18/04/2026It's been a few weeks since street date so I guess I can post about this now but I helped out on the new Voltes V Blu-ray from Discotek Very thankful for the opportunity and hope our paths may cross again someday 05734
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 17/04/2026The ride never ends I bought the Combattler V LD BOX literally a month ago to the day, and now an HD remastered BD is being put out? I will never escape the Robot Romance Trilogy 130
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 11/04/2026This pretty much sums up most translation discourse, unfortunately People obsessing over who's "right" 010
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 09/04/2026The UHD is a completely different master from the 2016 release 020
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 09/04/2026I should note that for Snow White, Cinderella, and Tron, Disney reauthored the BD with the new remastering, so it's highly likely this will also happen for Alice 120
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 04/04/2026They dangled a 5K remaster in front of my face like a keychain in front of a baby and it's been radio silence since last year Come on man you can't do this to me, once I know it exists I need it in my hands 000

Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 13/01/2026Probably a similar situation to the SDBD where they didn't get any good art from the licensor 000
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 06/01/2026MediaOCD store will likely ship this internationally when it comes out 010
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 03/01/2026Is it an actual remix? The wording on the box made it suspiciously sound like a mono>stereo conversion which made me think twice about getting the LDs to rip it 000
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 19/09/2025Hijitus DVD boxes arrived, from *Canada* of all places I love all the new art all over the set and in the included PC wallpapers The encoding isn't amazing but I wasn't expecting much out of Latino DVD authoring anyway Hopefully I can find the movies box set someday as well 021
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 16/09/2025Comparison between the Tron 2010 BD and the new UHD slow.pics/c/K0ymb3Le A significant improvement in every way, I'm so happy to see this film get a definitive master 041
Crash 🇵🇷 @crashoveride.bsky.social · 03/09/2025If you had told me a year ago that Queen Millennia had been licensed in the US, I might have believed you If you had told me *Sentai* was the licensee, I'd have told you to lay off the Sprite I still cannot believe this BD is real 010
