I moved to Los Angeles so I have an excuse to not care about the Browns, don't make me pay attention now. Most of my memories of the brows are post Ravens so I have only known them to be a terrible team, but I have fond memories of spending time watching the games with my dad so there is that.

My normally noisy ass neighborhood here in LA is eerily quiet during the Mexico v England match. Only noise was some fireworks during the single Mexico score (before half). If Mexico wins, our neighborhood will be lit. I assume people kept some fireworks aside from the 4th.

Had some makgeolli at The Prince. Also had fried chicken but gobbled it up before realizing I didn't take a photo. Also the Gaylord sign never burns out right. Venus and Jupiter (I think) being goddamn bright.

Going to be flying out to Cleveland to see family in Ohio. Besides some pierogi (I have to force myself to remove the s) and Heini's cheese, I am super excited for Cedar Point. They added three new coasters since I lived there (if you count TT2 as a new coaster).

We took advantage of the D line extension. It was great! Was able to get from Wilshire/Normandie to Wilshire/Fairfax headache free. We will be able to do museum days without hating the drive or parking.

They sort of taped over the old Wilshire/Western sign at the Wilshire/Normandie station .

Fancy new station at Fairfax. Lots of people on a Saturday.

We went to the Tar Pit museum. It will be closed for reservations next month.

My wife can fall asleep with every single light on with no problems. But if there is a piece of electronics in the room with a blue LED she can't. She can fall asleep with the TV blaring but me not putting the toilet seat down super gently is a major disturbance in the force.

I recommend this place! The food isn't something you can get easily elsewhere and is made well and well priced (for LA). The plaza was getting a little run down but has gotten new paint and upgrades around the time this replaced the old restaurant. The Korean place next door is pretty good too!

As a Koreatown resident, I am surprised the neighborhood isn't known much outside of LA. We have amazing food, you can actually walk, and some of the OG grocery stores can be a fun visit. We have good public transit access (by LA standards). But if you drive, then park at a garage and walk.

Finally took Metrolink! We took it Union Station to San Clemente Pier. No cars involved. Felt like I was in Europe! But with more sun.

This is great! For those outside of LA, Koreatown is a densely populated area of LA with mostly apartments. Many of these apartments are older too, so closet space is a premium and TLC is needed. It's not uncommon to have to wait a week or two to get our landlord to fix something in our apartments.

Tried explaining to my German teacher (who is Austrian) the PTO system here in the US and his response was basically, "That's crazy." Seems that most Europeans think it's crazy to have sick days and vacation days come out of the same pool. But, "verrückt" was thrown around in that session.

I have fallen in love with Campus B5 26-ring binders for my hobbiest game design. The paper is nice to write on and has different sheets you can mix and match. My only complaint was lack of a good dotted grid like in Leuchtturm notebooks. But I JUST noticed a sheet that has a faint grid!

Campus B5 26 ring binder. I recommend the larger binder as the smaller one is a pain to open and close.

I like being able to move papers around or add a graph.

So 836BT has a very faint grid. But 836C has better looking lines overall.

Grid dots means STAT TABLES YEAHHHHH!

You can see how the one with grid dots has faint lines compared to the one without.
