A line from 1988's Silence of the Lambs about the supermarket press loving Hannibal Lecter more than Prince Andrew.

Imagine being a fucking Tory and thinking you get to have a say on the divisiveness of Brexit. Apologise or shut it.
Screencap from The Guardian. The headline says: "Tories accuse Burnham of being ‘dangerous and divisive’ after he confirms Russian interference in Brexit campaign"

There's a photo of a pensive looking Andy Burnham to the right of the headline.

Never fuck a Tory.

Spotted a cool tree today.
A pipe that has spilled water down a wall, and moss has grown below it. It has followed the bricks and looks like a skinny tree.

I hopped on my bike and rode around the abandoned golf course in hope. The sky relented somewhat.
A sliver of eclipse, poking behind an otherwise cloudy sky.

In this one, limited, instance.
A shot from Trainspotting, where Mark Renton says it's Shite Being Scottish. He's surrounded by lovely countryside, and his two pals, Spud and Sick Boy.

I was watching a documentary about Sendai Girls, a Joshi wrestling promotion. It has led to a match where the women are all wearing sandals that hurt. Instead of fighting, they're all shuffling slowly around and screaming. It's hilarious.

I don't even like golf, but this is why I will never support England in any sport or event. England is not the home of golf.

Both the big blurry one and the tiny toy one I just recieved are an excellent use of free will and my money.
A photo of a toy mountain bike on a wooden floor. The blurred background shows a similar bike, but out of focus and full-sized, in front of a window.

The small one is a generic copy of the Avinox PX Carbon in the backdrop.

Put a random ep of The X-Files on. Did a lol.
An image from the X-Files. It shows a photo with half a human face and half a skull, and the text says "but that skeleton was that person". it's supposed to be scientiific, but it looks very goofy.

Dear god.
A terrible advert by The Guardiam.

On the left it says: THE COUNTRY IS FULL.

And on the right it says: Of people who can heal division.

It's time to stop the spread of hate. Donate to this year's charity appeal and support grassroots charities that are connecting communities and building solidarity, pride and hope across the country.

I love it when subtitles undermine the scene.

Both me and the angry poodle who attacks bikes, and was let off his leash, got off very lucky yesterday. I'm a bit banged up. Scrapes and bruises, but it could have been worse. My helmet is done, and my gloves are ripped and bloody. My ebike is very heavy, the dog is lucky I pulled the brakes.

The river and clouds made a lovely sandwich this afternoon.

Went here, today. It was reasonmably well named.

Still very much afraid as heck using the drone, but I quite like this snap I took today. Top is an allotment, and the bottom is a cemetery.
Photograph taken from a drone, looking straight down onto an allotment next to a cemetery. A road bisects the image diagonally. The graves are casting long shadows.

Last year I became a bike wanker. This year I've become a drone wanker.
A selfie of Craig. He's holding a drone remote contol that has a screen. The screen is showing him from the drone's POV. The drone hovers top right, facing the camera. The background is the greenery of an abandoned golf course.

I'm usually pretty quiet on here. To make up for it, here's a photo I just took of a funeral director's storage facility with the door left open.

I found a hidden frog pond in an estate in Dundee a few weeks ago. Took a different route walking into town and there it was.
A view of a strange pond in dundee - it has a place to stand, a sign, and is full of bull rushes. A close up of the sign. It explains that amphibians are in decline due to habitat loss and that this pond is here to address that. There's an infographic detailing the news, dragonflies, frogs, toads, and others that can thrive here. A photo of two frogs in the pond. They're partly submerged and surrounded by frogspawn.

To leave a short message here. My cat Layla has passed away. Layla, the love our lives, she cared from day we unlocked the cage door to the moment she left us. We were always completely loved. It was a short illness, she didn't suffer. We were there at the end, and she drifted off in our arms.

@thisismyglasgow.bsky.social Quick Q - have you ever made it to "The Plaza", that rather grim gathering spot they built in the '60s, below the overpasses near Glasgow Royal Infirmary?

Header text: What people think Scotland is like vs What it's actually like

On the left side, there's a traditional depiction of Scotland: a man dressed in full Highland regalia, including a kilt, sporran, and a hat, playing the bagpipes against a scenic green landscape.

On the right side, a person in casual clothing is seen hanging from a lamppost in a residential area. Below this, a caption reads:

"walkin ma dog this morning and seen a junkie hangin from a lamppost."

Glad to hear Jonty is still leaving cars around. We lived together in Bath in the mid-2000s. When he moved to London, he left this car at the bottom of our garden. It took him a year to move it—only after I posted pics & tagged him on FB. Eventually, some random guy came and took it.

I looked at the BBC, god help me. WTF does this even mean?
Screenshot from the BBC, comparing the same footballer across the UK. Top image footballer John McGinn talking to a referee, the caption reads "How English folks view see John McGinn".

The lower photo shows the same footballer dancing with some Bavarian men in traditional dress. Caption reads "How Scottish folks see John McGinn".
