Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. You may have noticed a strategically placed pen over this drawing; my cunning plan to self-censor and avoid getting banned (again).

Well, IT'S READYish. Kickstarter pre-launch is active! Please sign up there if you fancy it. I can then gauge interest which gives me ideas for funding targets, add-ons etc. It should go live in October for an appropriately spooky seasonal Kickstarter! Thank you! www.kickstarter.com/projects/aly...

"Killtopia" by @davecook.bsky.social @clarkbintart.bsky.social & @craigpaton.bsky.social - A very interesting take on Cyberpunk! Great artstyle with a varied and distinctive character design and a story that kept me reading. I'd really like some more stories more from this scenario Very recommended!

Cover of "Killtopia": A man in a kind of poncho stands, with a baseball bat held over one shoulder. Right behind him lies a destroyed robot. Further in the distance loom the ruins of collapsed buildings.

A page from "Killtopia" showing three "wreckers", humans with sometimes extensive augmentations, wrecking mechs.

A page from "Killtopia": A robot and a woman fight their way back to back through a group of futuristic yakuza thugs.

A page from "Killtopia": A group of figures in ancient japanese clothing, armed only with katanas, cut their way through the yakuza in a huge lobby area.

All Facebook groups for amateur artists have, in the past year or so, become pretty much exclusively 'AI art argument groups'. Normally these groups would be for beginners to learn techniques and network, but now it's just all clowns spamming AI slop and trying to defend it as their own work.

I'm just guessing, but, I have the feeling that the new Harry Potter reboot show is going to cast a black kid as Harry Potter, which will allow them to label any boycott or backlash against the show as purely racially motivated. "If you hate JK Rowling you must be a racist." etc.

Star Trek Section 31 was abysmal. Odd how Star Wars is able to have multiple shows, movies and spinoff while maintaining consistent lore, canon and style, whereas each new Star Trek thing has to reinvent the wheel and depart from what has been established. Maybe Disney should buy Star Trek too.
