I recently went down a rabbit hole of learning what offset building is in Dune and I spent four hours this weekend losing my mind in awe at what some people have made w/ it and trying to see if I could incorporate it in my current build (I cannot and I refuse to start over, so next build maybe)

The active parry window is way bigger than you think sometimes, I have friends constantly trying to hit it last second but you can hit it way earlier in the swing windup and still get it. Glad you're enjoying it though, I absolutely love this game too

I know it's incredibly unlikely, but I hope they find a way to put the long deleted old content back into the game in some form. It's so sad this game is sunsetting with 3/4ths of its paid content just *gone* without the ability for anyone to come from behind and experience.

I stopped playing at The Final Shape, but man this still hurts to read. I gave 7 years of my life to this game, played every expansion, nearly every season, and made so many friends. I know it's not going offline, but it's sad to see such a rich universe call it an end w/o a 3rd game being greenlit

As a student, I remember the student senate proposing an opt-out bill for students to request refunds for tuition money used to fund the LGBTQ resource center on religious grounds - back then there was a social media blowback from students. Far cry from the policy nosedive the school is doing now.
