If y'all think RAM prices are bad now wait til you see the price of a mid-tier RAM upgrade in 2077.

How rude of this meme to target me like this right after I recently made some PC upgrades

I've never been happier to be just kind of alright

Took awhile before STALKER 2 got its hooks in, mostly because I kept quitting after getting jumpscared by mutants that can turn invisible. But now I'm really enjoying myself! Also after working in nuclear power for 5.5 years, pretty cool to see Chernobyl nuclear power plant in a video game

Ah yes, tactical bread armor. #Stalker2

I gotta say I'm still riding the high of the #TheWitcher4 trailer. I cannot wait to see what @cdpr.bsky.social cooks up. Also I am just delighted seeing how energized and excited the devs are on socials to be getting to show this to people finally.

As always, there's an @xkcd.com for that!

Motherboard, CPU and RAM upgraded. Got a 9800X3D on a ROG Strix X870E-E and 32GB of DDR5-6400. This should be a nice bump!

Cannot wait to start putting these into my system tomorrow. Haven't done a full upgrade in years.

20 minutes into the opening tutorial and #STALKER2 has already jump scared and then killed me once. We're so fucking back.

Wow I did not realize how stretched this uploaded thanks to the bad signal out there LOL This is how it should have looked!

It's a bit humid but Texas Renaissance festival was a great time this weekend.

Some more 2021 winter storm #cosplays this time from the #Witcher. I was absolutely miserable because the sleet felt like needles in my face but it made for some great shots so I guess suffering is just part of the craft, right cosplayers? lol

I keep seeing how much this app is blowing up now and I figure I should post more of my #cosplay content. So here's a shot of a Jedi outfit I threw together during the Texas winter storm in 2021. I really need to get back into cosplay, I haven't done it in years and I miss it loads.

Continuing to enjoy how great my Rook looks in cutscenes. Dragon Age The Veilguard has been so good narratively, I cannot wait to see how it ends.

Craig @craign.bsky.social · 09/11/2024

Man, Bioware really flexed with the visuals in this game. There's so many moments my Rook looks way better than I imagined they would even in character creation just because sometimes the lighting is just right. I love it. #DragonAgeTheVeilguard #DragonAge

I'm having so much fun. I can't wait to get further along.

Mad props to @bioware.bsky.social 's technical team on Veilguard. As much as I love Inquisition & Andromeda, they always felt duct taped to Frostbite to get those games working Veilguard finally feels like the two are tailored to fit like well oiled machinery. It plays and looks phenomenal.

I realize it's in my banner but I haven't posted any of my #cosplay here yet. Any other #videogame #cosplayers on Blusky? (I have not worn this in quite awhile but I'm still very proud of it)

My last post here was 8 months ago. With Twitter getting increasingly dumb I'm going to try to use this more. Dragon Age is out in 2 weeks, who's excited? I'm on my second playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3, Star Wars Outlaws was great, Frostpunk 2 is addicting, & I need to find time to beat Trespasser

I've been getting out my comfort zone lately by finally catching up on Control by Remedy Games. buuut I can tell I'm not comfortable yet with suspense/horror elements because I still manage to accidentally jump scare myself with distant ray traced reflections of my character in office windows.

I beat Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty as well as the new base game ending last weekend and I'm *still* thinking about it days later. Absolutely phenomenal experience. CDPR absolutely crushed it.

Craig @craign.bsky.social · 02/11/2023

I have so many hours in this game, but I've been on a break since August when Baldur's Gate 3 came out. All the news coming out of Bungie's layoffs this week has made this the easiest choice not to go back, though. Game developers need to unionize.

I never get tired of the views in Night City. Phantom Liberty has me falling in love with this game all over again.
