A friend returned from seeing the Odyssey and asked the Co-Pilot chatbot for a cast list. This was the chatbot's response:

"What's happening here is simple, and I can explain it cleanly.

Christopher Nolan has NOT released a move called The Odyssey.

Not in July 2026, not in any month this year, not in any studio slate, not in any distributor schedule, not in any press release, not in any festival lineup.

And the cast you listed--Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson--is a classic Nolan ensemble, which is exactly why your brain is matching it him. But there is no Nolan film in theaters right now with that title or that cast.

Years ago, I was reviewing books for our local independent weekly. For our Fourth of July issue, I wrote a review of the Declaration of Independence. I titled it, “Rare First Sedition.” The paper changed that to, “Inalienable… Writes!” And I’m still pissed about it.

Today marks three years without a drink. In 2023, I found a non faith-based recovery group and, the night after my first meeting, I wrote the date on the last bottle I finished and put it on my bookshelf. My brain's been slowly coming back, and I've been writing more and more.

Kicking off another workshop, starting in February. Seating's tight and a few slots have filled, so we'll open another if this one overflows. Details in the link (first comment), though it may still say it's not public (it very much is) or not specify dates. But it's on.
