Gorgeous game! Aesthetics are on point. Worth the price tag for the art and the voice acting alone. Pretty good boomer shooter. Not the most difficult, especially on mouse (pun intended) and keyboard. I will say, though, I'm a very casual shooter fan. Take my opinion with a grain of salt.

As the Nintendo 64 celebrates its 30th anniversary I'm reminded of the surprising fact that Animal Crrosing (or rather, Dōbutsu no Mori) got its start on the system before later being remade and released worldwide on GameCube.

I know this'll ruffle feathers but I agree with this Food/Water watch analysis. Diverting renewable energy away from fossil phase-out and climate adaptation and towards melting graphics card to power chatbots is the formal end of moral purpose for clean technology.

Data Centers With Renewables Aren’t the Answer
So all these power plants and “temporary” turbines are raising power prices and polluting our communities. Why don’t we just power data centers with renewables?

Many data center companies are pledging to (eventually) do just that. But even if these pledges weren’t just empty greenwashing promises, powering data centers with clean energy is utterly unrealistic. It also threatens the progress of our already dangerously slow energy transition.

Continuously powering a 1 GW data center would require nearly 20,000 acres of solar panels or 185,000 acres of onshore wind power. We cannot afford to waste the time, space, or money to build renewables for Big Tech’s profit machines.

Already, data center growth is outstripping available renewable energy supply and redirecting renewables from other industries. It’s drawing urgently needed renewables from existing technologies and resources. We need to focus our renewable energy resources toward thos

Anniversary was my first "classic" Tomb Raider game, and I fell head over heels in love with it! The grappling hook kicks so much ass. It was such a fun addition that was seemlessly integrated into the original levels. I hope this new remake drives more people to try Anniversary instead.

After watching all the stuff coming out of Gamescom, the majority of which seems to be Unreal Engine games with that same Unreal Engine realistic lighting/rendering approach, I realize I've really slid entirely over to "I'd rather play random 6 dollar illustrative indie games on Steam".
