This takes less than 2 minutes, if you're an ally in the UK please contact your MP about this, even if they're a trans phone. Numbers speak.

Happy Pride Month. If you're a gay man, please remember your power. People often think that gay men are innately fashionable, which means if you wear some stupid shit for long enough, straight people, including homophobes, will copy you and then you can laugh at them.

I think we’re long past the “ai bad because of stealing” argument and fully in the “ai is also actively and tangibly destroying our planet why are you even trying to use it as an art tool at this point” stage

types of mutual on social media: * your buddy you riff with all the time * someone you used to riff with but are pretty sure has you muted at this point * person you admire who followed you back somehow and gives you a jumpscare every time they like a post * we interacted one time years ago

disclaimer if u don't regularly play something with steel strings this is probably worse than nylon

000

🩸music vampire🏴‍☠️ @cr0wteeth.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

VERY worth noting--- my other electric is painful to play after about an hour bc the action and string tension are just, punishing. this thing doesn't feel any worse than nylon

🩸music vampire🏴‍☠️ @cr0wteeth.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

by "fun" I mean "somewhat challenging but not absurdly hard" lol like. when I DO find uke tabs it seems to be for like, a single riff or a melody to a song? I'm kinda looking for like chord melody and shit with layers

000

🩸music vampire🏴‍☠️ @cr0wteeth.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

on that note could anyone point me to a site where I could find some fun uke *tabs*? maybe I'll just download musescore ugh

100

🩸music vampire🏴‍☠️ @cr0wteeth.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

if I see one more uke chord chart labeled as a tab I'm going to throw hands. a tab is a TAB if I wanted to know the CHORDS I would have googled CHORDS

emotional rn bc if you'd asked me 6 months ago if I imagined myself ever playing any Jake Shimabakuro pieces on my uke I'd laugh at you but. I think i may be ready to tackle some one of his simpler arrangements???
