The reason why the "not all men" rhetoric is so problematic is that it denies pattern recognition. Once women began to realize that a lot of men were behaving the same way, they stopped blaming themselves. Not all men is a way to blame the woman for the behavior she keeps encountering. ☕️💜

I have a genuine question. Have we taught girls "not to rape." Is this a genuine lesson that we sit down and teach them? And if so, why were the boys not present? I had a co-ed sex education. I learned about consent and rape alongside the boys. Why do we keep saying teach boys not to rape then?

What I have learned from the anti-adoption, anti-surrogacy crowd is that it is A-okay for a woman to not want to be pregnant as long as you also don't want to be a parent. For a woman, a child is a reward for suffering. If you don't suffer, you don't deserve one. ☕️💜

Everyone gets so up in arms when a woman chooses surrogacy, but we all quietly accept that all men, of every sexuality, outsource pregnancy to (usually poorer) women. It's only morally wrong when women do it. ☕️💜

I am finding that people against surrogacy have to reduce it to convincing a poorer woman to take on the risk of pregnancy in order to make their argument work. When surrogates come forward and state they were not poor/didn't do it for money, it's crickets. ☕️💜

Watched the Movie Primetime and was deeply frustrated by the sympathetic portrayal of literal child rapists while Chris Hansen was portrayed as some unhinged fame-hungry creep. Chris is not perfect.
