History will have a lot to say about this period of civilization. The US (though far from perfect) has traditionally been a beacon of freedom, hope, and justice. Now, just like 30% of Germans supported Hitler at the time, we have 30% that support our own version of that. This is a "humans" problem.

YES. I got involved with this topic because worker's comp spent every resource they had - to prove that I did not qualify for medical help. (The job ramped up to over 2,000 lbs of manual lifting per shift. I'm a 5'1 grandma.) Now I'm losing my home. #MedicareForAll #Courage26 #PatientsRights

Wages are a big thing but as you get older you realize that your health doesn't let you do a lot of jobs. I'm a reasonable person but there's too much "all or nothing" with jobs. (Can't work like a dog? Then no job for you. - Every job that is not an office/desk job.)
