You're right about dishonest. I kept seeing ads for "advertise on Reddit" so I tried it. I got instantly banned and have no idea why. I offered to show my ID / biz docs but the ads team says no, all I can do is submit an appeal (that seems to go nowhere). What kind of way is THAT to do business?

Not disagreeing w/ you but it's the algo. I feel you. I'm an activist and tried to set up a Reddit ad and got instantly banned. Now I see ads for "Reddit advertising" 10x A DAY across YT, Google, and email. But I hardly ever see weight loss ads, probably bc I never looked into it. It's predatory.

Everyone is concerned with how to pay for HC but nobody talks about the standard of care. I went to worker's comp as my last resort. Not only did they not help me keep the job but their "care" gave me a new, worse, problem. Then they said goodbye. We need to put the "care" back into health care too.

As a Detroiter (neighbor of Windsor) I love Canada. I've driven truck through there many times. I have a dozen Canadian gaming friends. Your TV shows are good too! (Mayday: ACI, Saving Hope. Murdoch Mysteries. Honorable mention: Hudson & Rex. Watched Don Cherry for years!) Sorry about our president.

History will have a lot to say about this period of civilization. The US (though far from perfect) has traditionally been a beacon of freedom, hope, and justice. Now, just like 30% of Germans supported Hitler at the time, we have 30% that support our own version of that. This is a "humans" problem.

YES. I got involved with this topic because worker's comp spent every resource they had - to prove that I did not qualify for medical help. (The job ramped up to over 2,000 lbs of manual lifting per shift. I'm a 5'1 grandma.) Now I'm losing my home. #MedicareForAll #Courage26 #PatientsRights

Holy cow that's beautiful! I'm originally from Michigan. It's cool. We have lakes and four distinct seasons. But as a long haul trucker I got to see 48 states. Out west is... WOW!! Mountains, deserts, the electric blue pacific. Just wow. East is interesting too but more for history. Enjoy your trip!

Teamster, eh? That's an interesting topic. In Michigan our teamsters are mostly against m4a because it would undercut "all they've worked to negotiate." Apparently it's the AFL-CIO branch of unions that want m4a. Fell into a rabbit hole last mo in prep for a m4a event here. I like unions but geez.

I wish someone would've warned me about Reddit ads. I see ads for them 5x/day. Tried to set up to sell lawn signs for Medicare4All. Reddit banned me w/ no explanation and nobody to verify my biz. (R support is all AI.) So I can't sell my signs AND lost my personal R acct. I never would've tried it!

Right on. To each their own. I'm a typer. I can type really fast on my big ol keyboard. Those phone ones take me forever because the squares are so small and the auto-correct is a nightmare, lol. Plus, I use a lot of utilities like Gimp, LibreOffice, DreamWeaver, Telnet. And I have a T of biz files.
