Reposted by CorvidMacabrePossible Worlds Games @possibleworlds.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Burnout is clinically understood as a combo of 6 factors—work overload, lack of control, insufficient rewards, breakdown in community, absence of fairness, & value conflicts—and only a fraction of it is under your control. Burnout is a systemic problem, so be kind to yourself and hard on the system. 5496783856

CorvidMacabre @corvidmacabre.bsky.social · 19/08/2025i agree with that. i don't expect her to be stoic at all times through this. and sometimes being strong is letting yourself be vulnerable and cry it out you know? i think maybe i should delete the post though. i shouldn't put this online. ill put up a notice about my responses being slow instead. 100
CorvidMacabre @corvidmacabre.bsky.social · 19/08/2025Yeah, she's been considering counseling for a while now... but after this... its one of her planned goals. She's so friggin strong. i may put up a sale if she needs the help... Though she's got pretty good insurance. It's really about finding the right support. 100
CorvidMacabre @corvidmacabre.bsky.social · 19/08/2025Were covered financially, but we're looking for good therapists for her to go to now. If any of you have recommendations for the type of education and specialties would be good for her, i'm all ears. CSR work will be a bit slow on my end, and i'm not sure if i should drop some events or go harder. 061

CorvidMacabre @corvidmacabre.bsky.social · 24/07/2025even though i have my own criticisms of the show and its writing... there are points where it has it's merits. the art style and visual direction is really great. is the show to my taste? sometimes it is, sometimes not... but if people enjoy it, let people enjoy the things! hoping to see more Milly! 010
CorvidMacabre @corvidmacabre.bsky.social · 23/07/2025you are doing the best you can and that is what matters. loosing an animal to old age is the hardest thing because you have had known them for so long. give her lots of hugs and love in these last moments... you have my condolences and lots of virtual hugs. I know you will do what's right for her. 020
CorvidMacabre @corvidmacabre.bsky.social · 23/07/2025Will you guys be willing to sacrifice sliders in exchange for a more stylized head? i've been mulling it over, and what i want to make vs what SL's limitations are inherently at odds... 130

CorvidMacabre @corvidmacabre.bsky.social · 22/07/2025i looked at the 7 days sale and oh my god half of it was spammed with AI stuff, or AI patterns on clothes templates. i'm not against templates... but then there's no actual effort behind it, all it does is flood those of us who are actually making things from scratch out with cheap stuff. 120
CorvidMacabre @corvidmacabre.bsky.social · 21/07/2025this isnt the best way to victory garden... but with how bad things have gotten i think this may be an answer. that and raising chickens, quail, or ducks.
