Python's causal inference packages are not well-maintained and have too many dependency issues (large, barely needed ones and required dependencies that aren't listed as such). It's annoying.

Also, if there are issues in the documentation, let me know. I relied on Claude Code to generate much of the docs on amos. The docs for the related packages are authored mostly by me. But, I'm just not as good at generating recipes and examples as Claude seems to be.

The package is designed to make Python data analysis quick and accessible. You can use it without knowing how to do code (via the settings file). But it also cuts out a lot of labor for people who do data science all the time. It wraps a ton of other repos and tools to be interchangeable.
