Some 200 runners will take part in a running event challenging themselves to run up and down Corstorphine Hill as many times as they can in one hour. The "Hour to the Tower" challenge has been set by West Edinburgh Running Club which will see runners complete as many laps as they can from the foot of the hill to the Corstorphine Tower. The race, which is the first of its kind, will take place on 6 September and is branded as a community celebration, personal test and an endurance test.
