I have had victories for constituents but there are many more waiting for good news. Though I am grateful to have recently met Capita - again - I am meeting them for a further time in a couple of weeks to keep the pressure up.

People are paying the price for years of tax rises and the cost-of-living crisis. My party's plan would raise the tax-free allowance to £15,000, putting hundreds of pounds back into the pockets of working people and taking 2.5 million people out of income tax altogether.

I'm proud to be a co-sponsor of Tom's bill. The system generates more debt despite attempts to pay it back. Government needs to realign repayment thresholds with average national earnings, and review the fairness of interest rates and repayment structures to stop punishing those who want to learn.

Parliament has voted against the Assisted Dying Bill. I am so disappointed for campaigners who have advocated for something allowing choice, dignity and peace at the end of life. I shall continue to work with campaigners and MPs across the house to ensure the best end of life care.
