tech illiteracy and aversion to learning it is a plague on society you use your computer daily to access important documents, emails and accounts (some of them being fundamentally important for your life like banking) nobody has a right to complain about "learning how to use tech" because of it

A special shout out to AnotherMatt_ for completing a run with the forbidden Samson synergy! Even going as far as beating Delirium! Wow! Why

i dunno if it's weird, but one of these days if I ever go to the U.S. (barring it's safe again and there's no psychotic bs happening) i would love to visit something like the Central Park i dunno why, just like U.S. fast food I've always been enamored with the Central Park to some extent

New Synergy Found! In The Binding of Isaac: Repentance's files, there lies a synergy with Samson and The Pinking Shears, which goes unused. Check it out!

why does the U.S. have everything interesting and Estonia doesn't just now I'm realizing there are "vintage computer fests" there, yet not a single one in Estonia. I would love to go check something like that out one of these days

sometimes i wonder about this very prolific and important period of my life where i frequented a Minecraft community from like 2016 -> 2020 i wonder how everyone is doing there. i wish the best for everyone that was in there

monkey's paw curls: nobody gets their username and everyone is labelled under a completely random string shame Skype died down after MS bought it tho... it's one of the big things that Estonia had under it's belt next to Buckshot Roulette, DE & that one deer on TV3

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 09/09/2026

building actual server architecture is funny sometimes because you work on a feature (like accounts) and then you realize oops you need to sanitize for specific letters and numbers oops you need to add criteria like no 4 letter usernames or passwords etcetera etcetera

every passing day i become more cynical and want kids off the damn internet bro most of them are so annoying

calamity mod not budging to XQC wanting to purchase it is a good decision a community of users is a representation of the person or people spearheading it. if it's full of assholes then this person is probably not the best individual to lead a project

020

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 19/08/2026

my most annoying pet peeve is that: i hate YouTubers and their videos where they commentate over game updates and news only for it to literally be rehashing posts verbatim of public info that everyone knows

010

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 17/08/2026

the deck is probably going to stay hidden because it's still very iffy on whether i want to implement it in the first place. focus is still on tag rebalancing before there's even talk about any other stuff that could be added as for talking & testing, just "sannu" on discord :)

010

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 17/08/2026

a few of the things that I have planned (like Tag Rebalance & the Flop Deck) have been a bit of an undertaking just because of how much art and logic they need ... and i don't kind of want to keep this in development hell for god knows how long LOL

111

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 17/08/2026

current goal (not guaranteed) is to first have my moots that I know test everything out for balance and then push out an initial build of all of the Jokers that I have, the Vouchers & maybe the Enhancements as public

110

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 17/08/2026

perhaps.... not an epic gamer that can get naneinf consistently or anything but it may be fun i am also slowly chipping at the mod during my free time but progress has been slower as i run out of ideas and busy with other things irl

onedrive is a plague i've had to do laptop repair and maintenance for someone. "files are gone suddenly" only for it to be revealed that they got logged and kicked out of their account, causing those files to be removed windows is a dumpster-fire and bill gates should be touched violently

deadlock be like: you have one person new on your team? we're stacking you against three people that will get 25 + 25 + 15 kills you cannot tell me this new matchmaking system isn't equally broken bro

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 13/08/2026

update: server bug is caused by my laptop most likely not having enough RAM why the fuck does a single game server on dedicated hardware without any desktop environment and extra bloat need +8 GB??

000

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 13/08/2026

fuuuuck project zomboid is so fun fuuuck i love playing multiplayer with my friends the new update is so cool (except all the server bugs that have been seemingly happening otherwise it's awesome)

i've seen an unfortunate number of people just do a completely wrap-around heel-turn insistence for a headcanon to the point where they get aggressive over it there isn't anything wrong with it but GNC individuals do exist as well and deadass everyone calls ralsei a he without pause in the story

its hard to buff Stone cards because they're sort of this 4.5/10 at best on decks and a 7.5/10 on Plasma Wild cards are the easiest I feel like, I already have a few ideas brewing Bonus cards are... yeah. they're just there, people barely use them and it's hard to incentivize using them

010

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 01/08/2026

one of the things i want to do is figure out how to make lesser-used enhancements like Bonus cards, Wild cards & Stone cards more viable during a Balatro run anyone going over the general "advanced" hump usually starts using primarily golds & steels for a run unless they're not boring

110

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 30/07/2026

it's more just smaller tidbits and world-building that wasn't established in the original series proper as well as a decent chunk of just "here's what this specific part of the story was like from this specific side character" it's a light read and fanservice-y but i like ATLA so (:

110

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 30/07/2026

the other one was a less impressive one but i own a copy of Avatar the Last Airbender : Legacy of the Fire Nation, which i got years ago when i was (still am) heavily into ATLA it's less of a "book" book and more just an illustration collection with around 50-ish pages of light reading material

120

starsannu @cooltw.ink · 30/07/2026

classes because i was already a self described "lowkirkenuinely terminally online english moid" (joking) it's just a collection of short stories and the most prominent one is about this sorta metal ball that flew onto the earth and houses these small beetle creatures that are looking for a new home
