I support accessibility initiatives but I'll aways also support the existence of games that don't bother. The accessibility conversation relies too heavily on the unspoken idea that games are a product, and that more people playing them is the singular goal and merit.

decided i wanted gba size and put together this version. the stats are a bit much but at the same time i can make the case for them so maybe its okay for it to be overwhelming. also on the fence about the top bit; i like the idea of the location and time always being visible, but we'll see.

There should be a service where someone is in charge of finding and scheduling specialists for your unique health issue, because it's definitely not a skill everyone has and primary doctors definitely aren't required to have it either, so it's basically an extremely risky & high effort dice roll.

now that all the ui elements have dynamic color palettes, i'm able to use that to implement a nice reactive mouse hover effect. which palette is used for the default vs the hover is all data-driven and eventually will be configurable in the settings. #gamedev #screenshotsaturday

Increasingly feel like part of my issue is eye strain. The past few days I've had moments where I can't bear to focus on fine detail, not because it's painful, it's like my brain is rejecting it and I have to force it to focus. Not just screens. My doctor just kinda waved it off though.

I can't prove it but Oracle of Time looks like "shadow ai" which is my term for "they used ai to make all the concept art, but every single thing on the screen is hand-made". It feels like skilled artists dutifully capturing the vibe of ai artwork without the explicit errors.
