Honestly, I don’t know. It really is just the frustration talking. I just can’t stand the GOP—and Mitch specifically—getting away with yet another thing while the taxpayers who can’t stay afloat themselves pay for that asshole’s huge salary and healthcare. Like everyone I’m just so fed up

I want him to appoint a Dem. I know it’s not what the law says. But as I understand it, the law the GOP passed goes against the state constitution. So let them sue. That’s what they would do. We have to be more aggressive. I’m so sick of us following all the rules while they trample them

If all income in excess of $400,000 were subject to the Social Security payroll tax, Social Security’s solvency would be guaranteed forever. We could also expand Social Security benefits. There’s no reason even to consider reducing Social Security benefits or raising the age of eligibility.

Blanche was confirmed as AG. Just a reminder: The last time a president appointed an attorney he had personal ties to, was when Nixon appointed his law partner and campaign manager John Mitchell. Mitchell ended up disbarred and spent 2 yrs in prison for his role as AG protecting Nixon.
