Another foreign rights #bookcover I loved was the Netherlands version of A ROAD THROUGH THE MIOUNTAINS, making reference to the #19thcentury #Chinese landscape which forms part of the book. Their cover for THE ICE CHILD was beautiful too.

Following on my post about #RichardDadd the #Victorian painter, here's the French cover fro my novel THE GIRL IN THE GREEN GLASS MIRROR. Like the USA version, it also features a detail from Dadd's painting #TheFairyFellersMasterStroke, which took him nine years to paint.

After being scorched and cooled, the colours in the garden are an interesting kaleidoscope. I rather like the crisped pale hydrangeas that are supposed to be deep pink. I drench them occasionally but they are still thirsty. Not surprising in 35C #hydrangea #garden #gardenersworld #colour
