Then there’s the ones I haven’t touched in at minimum a year: A Main Character Ilia AU where she joins the main cast after Volume 5 to go to Atlas, then a RWBY Mirror Universe AU where literally just after Volume 5 they’re sent into a Mirror Universe of RWBY I created. The writing is poor.

Like, as a hardcore angry socialist who aligns more with Megatron in these scenarios anyways…the movie was a bit clumsy, though it handled it better than a lot of media has. I had no real complaints on the ending. You’re allowed to not like the movie of course, just…I thought it was pretty good

Now, there’s something to be said for portraying D-16 as being “as bad” as Sentinel being pretty unfortunate, burning things down for no reason, though my takeaway from One is that Sentinel needed to go down & everyone agreed, they just disagreed on what to do after he was.

…look, I’m very much an “armed resistance is often necessary & justified” kind of person, its why I hate RWBY’s White Fang Arc despite loving the rest of that show, though The High Guard weren’t exact revolutionaries. Social darwinists. I think banishing them & Megatron was fine.
