Thank you to everyone who believes in what Level1 is doing and supporting our ideas and trusting us. It feels incredible to be able to create the things we do and I could never hope for a better team. Five years ago I don't think I could've imagined being where we are.

I feel like I go through these cycles of motivation and dread with TOing, I just gotta accept that making these things happen with the excellent people I've found myself working with is fundamental to who I am. Quitting or stepping back would be tantamount to denying my soul its sustenance.

For now I really need a break from tournament stuff (I haven't played video games in so fucking long I forgot what I was playing). But work is gonna start up again pretty soon on the next thing, as it always does.

Cabinet (conceptually) has been a dream of mine and jayde's for years now and I'm really glad we're doing it but it is also furthering my belief that games that can't be run on modded wiis should not be played in tournament

hopefully picking up new(used) car tomorrow. it's the first car i'm paying for myself and owning outright (after the 72mo financing period, technically). it's a 2019 hyundai kona EV, a 16 year and 170k mile upgrade to my current car, a 2003 toyota matrix. hoping it's the last car i ever own.

went to karaoke at the local dogshit dive tonight and for most of the night i felt like easily the best singer but then at the 11th hour this tall beautiful trans woman with an immaculate voice came and swept everyone's hearts away i was simply dumbstruck. gonna have to come back and find out more.
