Contig @contig.bsky.social · 20/09/2026If the meta slows down, it might be more plausible -- especially with more minions that have passive effects. As with most secrets, spending 2 mana to do nothing can be difficult. Though unlikely other secrets, the payoff can be pretty strong. 011 0

Buffing something not enough can look bad (you've now confused casual players who have to relearn the card, and other players who are disappointed it didn't do anything) And of course buffing it too much creates more problems later on. 210 0

Contig @contig.bsky.social · 24/05/2026Scaled Lancer works well defensively for clearing minions off (and going face if they don't have any) It can also help clearing non-taunt minions (such as Nozdormu.) and soak random spell damage. It definitely doesn't belong in every deck, but I've enjoyed it. 010 0
