Scratching my head trying to work out why Cubase isn't recording any MIDI while I'm playing bits in. Turns out I need to use the controller keyboard, not the actual synth. I've only been using this set-up for about 16 years.

My parents weren't bothered, but I used to watch it religiously as a kid every week, in bed on my portable TV. Great show. Like you say, the range, from deadly serious to completely ridiculous was unique.

I had an email sent to me in error from an evangelical church in Missouri last night. I was very nice about it and told them they'd send it to the wrong person and would be deleting it. They were nice too and thanked me. It was all very civilised. God bless them.

I've used the Samsung SSDs for many years (T5, T7 etc.), and they're great. Lugged them up and down the country for my freelance work and my Conc live shows. Depends what bandwidth you need, but they handle large-ish Pro Tool projects without complaint. Can recommend.

Girlfriend and I were in NYC in March 2001. Unfortunately we didn't see much point in visiting the WTC. We did go up into the crown of the Statue of Liberty though, which closed after 9/11. One evening we decided to have an evening in our hotel room, and watched *that* episode of The Lone Gunmen.
