Illustration to Nikolai Gogol's "Dead Souls" www.wikiart.org/en/marc-chagall/ill…
This illustration by Marc Chagall for Nikolai Gogol's "Dead Souls" captures the chaotic energy and satire of the novel with whimsical and fluid forms. Chagall's use of expressive lines and surreal elements reflects the story's exploration of greed and identity in 19th-century Russia.

Acrylic painting of a human head emerging from the soil. Veins and arteries extend from the neck down into the soil. Three birds are perched on the veins and arteries as well.

human noise grows still when the wind is just right. I'm laying in bed watching the transmorphing skies while listening to birdcall and the white noise of rain. A small body ridden by an unknown disease against mine, soft noises emanating. A rare, short time of peace wanders warm in my mind.
Most of the lower frame is black, a chimney sicks out, a pigeon sitting on top. Uneven lines in front of itRaindrops on a window, a roof with chimneys blurry in the far back. A small bright part of sky behind the roof, the rest gradually blackening and grey

Green Tea www.wikiart.org/en/leonora-carringt…
Leonora Carrington's "Green Tea" is a surreal painting that depicts a mysterious figure wrapped in a patterned shroud, accompanied by fantastical creatures in a dreamlike, meticulously landscaped setting. Carrington's work often embraces themes of transformation and the untamed imagination, drawing from her involvement with the Surrealist movement and her personal fascination with myths and the esoteric.
