@ThoughtSlime

People who become right wing because they get annoyed by leftists are weak willed, most leftists are annoyed by leftists every single day.

Augh the closest one is the one I thought already, but thank you so much for the resource! I'm a little too busy at the moment to start one but I could see it happening.

I live near a big city I'd expect to have events like this but I'm finding nothing unless I wanna drive upwards of 3 hours out of state. Perhaps I could start a club if necessary.

Exactly! I'm not having kids until I know 100% that I have the tools to raise them differently than I was raised.

You seem to be generally trans-supportive in your profile, but biological determinism conflicts with that. It might be helpful to analyze the way society empowers men to become monsters rather than trying to find something innate. Hope this doesn't come across as rude, just a common pitfall I see.

Erika Ishii has committed the unthinkable crimes of being unflinchingly and joyously themselves and of having success in the video game space. These crimes against humanity are why every righteous online chode chud ceaselessly harasses them.

well the good thing is it's not like we live in the most car-brained society in the world and all our infrastructure wasn't built around driving and parking and everything is walkable and we have lots of efficient and dependable public transportation. at least there's that

What's with all of those posts on here like "The President of The United States is a Criminal" or "The President of the United States has no morals"? I hate them because they're just engagement bait but I kinda like the idea that these accounts just found out about him and started posting ASAP

bsky.app/profile/ahar... I agree with this lady, it's very painful to watch people capitulate on anti-trans narratives to beat the right even if we all know they're wrong.

To be honest I don't even care if social inclusion gets in the way of fairness. I know very few people are going to meet me on that and I'm still disappointed

Sabrina 🏳️‍⚧️ @computerr.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
This answer from you is better than the one he gave, I wish he'd spent more time being careful about it. We already have weight classes in tons of sports, and I'm just disappointed he missed that point and entertained the idea that we could be dangerous.

Not more likely than a cis girl harming other girls, which is an extra reason why it's insane to go case-by-case with an entire minority group.

Sabrina 🏳️‍⚧️ @computerr.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
The stats aren't there to accurately read our inclusion as unfair or unsafe, but he either chose not to say that or didn't do his research into a topic he was always going to get hit on.

when we are so thoroughly fear-mongered about already. The correct answer would have been "It would be unjust to exclude trans children or adults from any facet of society, even if your network does what it can to make people afraid of them."

Sabrina 🏳️‍⚧️ @computerr.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
Not only have brains been cooked, but the Dems (and some portions of the left) have refused to really tackle right wing framing, Talarico included. His caveat of "if it's a safety or fairness issue" was clumsy at best, leaving rhetorical room for the assumption that trans people are dangerous
100
Sabrina 🏳️‍⚧️ @computerr.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
Yeah but does a Democrat need to cave to right wing framing on trans rights to win Ohio? Does Nixon need to do it for a shot in Florida? If El-Sayed were to lose and Talarico were to win, would a Democrat "need" to run with this framing to win Michigan in 2030?

I'm aware, and I'm a fan of those you mentioned who are avoiding these long-game fumbles and actively fighting for trans people. It's stressing me out that more Dems aren't joining them.

I'm not trying to discourage voting, I'm trying to explain why it's so harmful for Dems to capitulate on this. If I'm the republican strategist pushing transphobia for several years, and Dems don't figure out how to attack transphobic framing itself, my hatred wins every election, forever.

The original post is in reaction to Talarico backpedaling on trans issues, which many trans people see as a dangerous precedent if he wins. (I share this opinion.) As for the hostage thing, "you have to vote this way to preserve democracy no matter what is done to you or said about you" feels bad.
110
Sabrina 🏳️‍⚧️ @computerr.bsky.social · 13/09/2026
Well I'm up too late pissed off, true. I'm just sick of being told that preserving democracy means choosing annihilation vs a slower slide into annihilation. I'm aware that's how the world works at the moment but it feels a lot more like a hostage situation than a democracy. Reckless long-game imo.

Oh you've posted before that "trans isn't an issue worth fighting for," so I already know you don't care how hostile the country gets for us. Project 2025, by the way, floats trans sports as a cultural wedge to eventually attack title IX.

Does it count as hope or a democracy when I have to check a specific box or else get crushed by the full power of the state

Sabrina 🏳️‍⚧️ @computerr.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

the same concessions. Next election cycle, I push the same strategy no matter what's already been conceded. Because I'm nasty.
170
Sabrina 🏳️‍⚧️ @computerr.bsky.social · 13/09/2026
Reads it as a sign that they have to make more concessions on trans inclusion in society. If at any point the opposing candidate takes a weasely stance on trans rights, and my side loses, the opposition decides that the candidate made the right move, and all future battleground candidates will make
150
Sabrina 🏳️‍⚧️ @computerr.bsky.social · 13/09/2026
Way I see it, if I'm a singularly driven trans phone in GOP party organization, I only stand to gain from backing the most extreme eliminationalist possible for nomination in any battleground state. My side messages relentlessly with "X candidate is for they/them" ads. If I win, the opposition party

Sabrina 🏳️‍⚧️ @computerr.bsky.social · 13/09/2026
Lol it doesn't matter if we support him, the narrative is set. He's already started backpedaling on trans support, And Paxton is already running a Talarico is for They/Them ad. If Talarico wins, he made the right call in backpedaling. If he loses, the attack ads work and we're not worth mild support

the end effect of "look we're totally on your side but we just can't stand up for you right now, you're too much of a hot topic because republicans are attacking you" is "we will stand up for you, and fight for your rights, as soon as republicans pick a different target"

other thing about all this shit is if shitting on trans people to prove your bonafides to conservatives the winning play, isn't trans people being mad at you a good thing, making you look more authentic to the voters you're courting. why you looking for "shit on trans people but they smile for it"
