Thanks for drawing my OC! I needed a character for a group comm., so I whipped up something quick from an existing design. The group comm. has hit some road bumps, but I now have an OC for other artists to draw. I love the final piece! More goopy dragons is never a bad thing.

Personally I find it hard to justify paying over $150 US per character per drawing. I would have to really be invested in a character and an artist's style to go beyond that threshold. (That said, my personal limit is also taking into account a minimum 40% tip on top of the base price.)

For me, the only "positive" takes I can think of are all concessions to the idea of highly-skilled people continuing to work in a creative industry. On a completely selfish level, I can't trust microtransactions. Is this game too hard/confusing? The devs did it on purpose to extract an extra $10.

I'm not an artist, but I have been using an HP Officejet 3830 for all my scanning needs. If you get a USB type A to type B cable, the NAPS program instantly recognizes the device and treats it like any other scanner. The only downsides are an A4 scanning surface + a max 400 dpi.

pulls at her heartstrings

and lastly
and i think the part
that really got to me

was the fact that
it was a moment where
a musician couldnt let
a song go unsung

there's just something
so indomitable
so utterly immutable
about knowing that
when a song goes unfinished
artists, or at least
true artists
refuse to let that go

art, true art
will always be
impossible to impede
it demands to be
created, and refuses
to be replaced"
