Control: Resonant is the most beautifully haunting game I have played since the original Control. And now with even more physic defying stuff. Fight last night bounced between all 6 cardinal planes including flying oriented towards each in turn. It's like the Inception hallway fight 24/7.

And that humbling experience is behind me. Just need to close up the case and move it back to the corner. Consumer hardware homelab is a challenge I'm getting tired of. What's running inside the homelab, however, makes me smile every time I look at it. Got some SID cleanup to do though.

Ok *now* I can brag. Used the master 2x10 stringer to cut 3 2x12 stringers and the 9 2x10 steps. Everything is level and plumb and attached using joist hangers, and the far stringer has 5" lags into the 8x8 catio supports. Need to put a railing on but it's functional.

Overshot the landing; had to add a step at the top since we're going from routed channels to on-top steps. Significantly more structurally sound and no transverse bolts to rot out.

Got Jr out of bed to help and we got all the supplies and finished demoing the old stairs in less than an hour. Printed a PDF protractor and established my 41° line. 4 cuts per step x 9 steps x 3 stringers. Gonna be a long afternoon.

The chromatic abberation from my crazy RX makes the keyboard backlight visibly separate into RGB channels when I'm just looking directly at the screen. Impressed my iPhone focused through my lenses and caught it TBH. Shoutout @smartypants.dropout.tv, I have 'medically necessary' contacts. 🙁

Tore down the PGU Nu to get the Kosmos LEDs fitted. Only took a couple hours and looks great. I need to wire up the backpack and the funnels but what I got done today is the "stock" LED install. For $60 as opposed to Bandai's $180. And it has more LEDs.

Penelope still looks like a ridiculous chicken, but I'm happy the "looks like it would shed parts like crazy" isn't actually true. It'll get disassembled this weekend to prep for paint. Tuesday is forced PTO so I can airbrush all day, then off to decals. Same colors as the Xi.

Remembered that wall doesn't need painted so the correct and hard way it was, but def worth the bit of effort. I try hard to make efficient use of my very limited space. Spot on the bottom shelf reserved for the Penelope. Gonna work on that when I get around to watching Hathaway 2.

remodeling decisions. The shelf tracks overlap the baseboard by 3/8". I can either: 1) Remove the bottom three shelves and lmove the tracks up 3/4" to close the gap between tracks. 2) Cut slots in the baseboards 3) Cutoff wheel the bottom of the tracks.

Too many tamales for the steamer in the rice cooker, so we're improvising. Springform pan on top of a splash guard with the cast iron's lid. Working surprisingly well.
