Realest post I have read today

You can be a good person & still have a past that would ruin your reputation at the wrong dinner table. Life is weird like that.
Sometimes your worst years are what make you better later. And sometimes the reason you're so careful now is because you remember the damage you were capable of.
That's the uncomfortable origin story of a lot of good people. Turns out shame can grow a conscience if you let it.

[ #art / #nostraightroads / #nsr ] Polaroid-themed art collab hosted by our NSR discord, as part of it's anniversary late last year! 💖 (see below for contributing artists! ✨) #nostraightroadsoc #nsroc #fanart

An illustration of a bulletin board featuring many polaroids attached to it, each of them containing an illustration of different NSR characters & OCs per polaroid. The top of the bulletin board has words formatted akin to a neon sign, which read "NSR: Rock n' Reloaded's Polaroid Afterparty", with the polaroids depicting the lives of citizens in Vinyl City.
A few are couples photos, others are of characters hanging out in the different districts (such as Akusuka or Metro Division), others within different buildings or venues within Vinyl City, so on & so forth.
The bulletin board is decorated with several star stickers in empty sections, as well as string lights on both sides & flowers on the top corners.

The Great Wall of Ara - NGC 6188 (RGB Colour) - From Rolf Wahl Olsen - flic.kr/p/UNTpmj

www.rolfolsenastrophotography.com

NGC 6188 is a large emission nebula located some 4000 light years distant in the southern constellation Ara. This giant molecular cloud is being illuminated by the young star cluster NGC 6193 which in this image appears in the upper centre, almost as if suspended above a cloud of dense nebulosity which forms a great wall across the field of view.

The cluster belongs to the Ara OB1 association and is very young, not older than 3 million years, and contains some 30 stars. At the centre of the cluster lies an intensely bright pair of stars; the O-type giants HD 150135 and HD 150136. The latter is in fact itself an extremely close binary with a confirmed third component in an outer eccentric orbit of between 2950 and 5500 days. This triple star system is one of the most massive in our galaxy with the three components containing 64, 40 and 35 solar masses respectively.

The intense radiation from the massive stars is slowly eroding the surrounding gas and dust away, sculpting it into the striking forms seen in this image. Within these clouds new stars are currently being born and in some places have already begun to light up the nebulous clouds from within. The intricately shaped dust and gas provide for a stunning interplay of light and shadow throughout the area and the entire scene is littered with thousands of dimmer stars in a multitude of colours. Especially in the lower part of the image several long shadows can be seen cast by the glo...

An illustration featuring two NSR OCs, KK & Ishtar, celebrating the New Year on a balcony at night.
KK is on the left, smiling at Ishtar with two sparklers in one hand, & a hand behind Ishtar's near the star between them. He is wearing the two bracelets Ishtar gave him, glowstick bracelets on another arm, a black jacket with neon green star accents, pink shades, a blue star themed shirt, & jeans with stars on one of the legs. There is also a party hat on his head, one on each ear, & one on his nose.
On the right is Ishtar smiling back at him, holding two sparklers in one hand, & using their magic with another to form a star between them. They are wearing their glasses, one bracelet on each wrist from KK, & a low cut sequin red dress with a rose & chain accessory at the center, cut outs on the sides of the hips, mars symbol hip accessories attached to the dress, & thin gold chains across their chest & hips. They also have a glowy 2025 themed headband on their head.
