Okay I hate to say this, but I cannot stream tonight. My friend is doing his birthday Doom co-op session tonight and I promised I'd be there to hang out and play. But have this model progress so far. I am very excited to show this off in game soon!

I hate to say this but I am not feeling up to streaming tonight. Been low energy today and quietly working on things. I needed to draw out what the Helskar Blade's pistol is gonna look like before I start modelling it, so have the art I've drawn for it here. I'll show model once I get it started.

For #screenshotsaturday here's some details I've added: There's an icon on the left of your armor meter to show what strength it's at. Keys are replaced, I put lines around the Disruptor icon when you can charge it (may be too subtle), and pips to show what missiles you have. #doom #doommodding

Nothin too fancy here but have the chainsaw and berserk tier upgrades for this character. The chainsaw lets you deal extra damage when point-blanking things with your default gun, and the berserk tier item boosts its ammo regen for the level. #doom #doommodding #zexion

Actually while I'm on the subject of flawed Metroid games. X-Fusion deserves a mention. It's a lot better nowadays, though the writing is still kinda weak. HOWEVER. X-Fusion also has some incredibly tense SA-X moments, far outpacing what was done in Fusion on the GBA, and that rules.

Metroid Dread. It's well put together, and whoever designed Samus' suit in that game deserves a raise. But I do not like the gameplay at all. Between the melee counter stuff, the cutscene takedowns, EMMIs being ultimately kinda toothless, nerfed screw attack and nerfed wall jumping. I wasn't happy.

Been playing that hot new Metroid Prime demake: Metroid Prime Origins. Very solid game, kinda buggy and weird in some spots though. Introduces some new items and stuff, which are all pretty fun. But man some of the writing for the logbook entries are horrible.
