Here's how you remove Google AI from your mobile devices.

amongussexgif

...

Instead of being in settings its in the google app. Also, google, not chrome. Icon is a G, not the circle thing. Click on your pfp to open a menu

From there, go Settings > Gemini > Digital Assistants > Switch to Google Assistant. This disables Gemini, google's Al assistant, and switches you back to the old one. We aren't done yet.

Go back to Settings. From there, we go Settings > Google Assistant > scroll to find General > Google Assitant on/off > turn it off

They really tried their best to make it a pain, but you can eventually disable it. Holding the power button on your phone still pulls up a menu and asks you to turn it back on, but this is the least intrusive you can make it.

Applies to all non-apple phones afaik. For sure Samsungs and Pixels but idrk about others

Edit: thank you my friend @/teeth-kid for confirming that this also works on Motorola

Easter Mass (2019) is up there on patreon, so there! So much nostalgia about it, and so weird/nice to be publishing it again. It was featured first in the 2020 NUIG ROPES Literary Journal and is kind of a queer Catholic guilt nonsense piece. www.patreon.com/posts/easter...

Inked portrait of smiling older person with hands in a prayer position. Digitally finished with a blue-grey shading.

I have a patreon now, which probably doesn't make much sense to look at if you're just following here rather than on instagram (I'm trying to get my decentralised socials in order, but playing the long game!). I'll stop holding back here and lurking, I promise! 😅 Weekly comics, colouring pages, etc.

Bring back handmade zines 👏 i hate how every artist booth at a con now needs to be super professional with high quality finish products. I miss aceo cards, shrinking foil charms and simple zines

Fancy a walk today..? Leaving usual time and place.. 🌳☀️ Bridge Wood, Suffolk, UK 📷 Jul ‘23 #Nature #Photography #GetOutside #Breathe #Trees

A woodland path, the reddish path slopes down gently between the tall tree trunks. The leaves from the trees are green and the sun light casts shadows over the path from the trees.

Dissertations are too long, we should all just write doctoral zines.

If you’re not a member of your local library then you’re a silly billy. You get free access to online newspapers and a movie streaming service called Kanopy which is a bit like Mubi www.librariesireland.ie

When you’re really blown away by a piece of art. There’s a deep inspirational longing, “wow, magic, how did the artist possibly do this?” “Id love to try doing this, but I don’t know how”. That awe & introspective conflict is part of enjoying art. The absence of that feeling is why Ai art feel yucky
