I don’t care if OpenAI has solved an age-old math question in the same way that I don’t care if anything useful has come out of unethical psychological or medical experiments. If it’s worth knowing, we‘ll get there a different way.

It's great that there are new #taVNS studies, but please use an ear electrode that can be customized to fit each individual 👂🏻 ⚡, rather than a one-size-fits-all model that doesn't fit different ears properly❗

Saturday morning well spent at the #neurology meeting for the Hamburg, Kiel and Lübeck sites. Diverse mix of topics, from the oral microbiome @csi-lab.bsky.social and movement disorders to updates from ongoing #Alzheimer’s disease trials.

I surprised myself: I'm saying NO to the Olympics in #Hamburg and I love sports and sport events! but the scale of costs and resources required for only a few weeks feels disproportionate to me. I see greater long-term value in investing in science and research 🧠 #nolympia

#VAGUSNERVE - I finally saw it with my own eyes during an iVNS implantation. Seeing it directly provided a much finer sense of its anatomy and the challenges we face (& we have to face) with #taVNS 🧠⚡

Across institutes. One contributing factor is the filling of leadership positions with individuals who lack both leadership knowledge and a genuine interest in this responsible task, focusing instead on their own self-interest and personal ego.

The thing is, it’s not like the resistance has failed. They set out to impeach him, to convict him for his many felonies, to vote him out of office. They have achieved all of that. It’s just that it has now turned out that all of those achievements were meaningless. That’s where hopelessness lives.
