Respectfully, I think if you're collecting the emails of every applicant it's not an unrealistic ask to send a cut and paste email to everyone who didn't make it with a standard rejection notice. It doesn't need to be anything special, and it's kind to send *anything* back in this job market

Microsoft then (as GitHub) posted about the incident, failing to name the poisoned extension by name, ensuring that follow up security audits is made as hard as possible for third parties. Github (operated by Microsoft) confirmed that 3800 private repos got leaked. Open source at last.

Today in tech news: Microsoft’s GitHub was compromised when a Microsoft developer (working on Microsoft GitHub internals) using Microsoft VSCode installed malware via Microsoft’s VSCode extension library, which is moderated and hosted by Microsoft.

i'm with Why on this, those things are rated for many meters of submersion. probably wouldnt have done it to cool down but i would have no qualms to take a phone into a pool if it's not like, cracked and shit
