It's depressing that the local Lib Dem's spend around 20% of their literature doing a victory lap over the last election… and pushing the conservatives… and can't spell fresh…

I really despise DPD for their systemic awfulness. Missed a delivery this morning. Within minutes they are telling me that it's dropped off at a local coop and I can pick it up after 9PM on Friday - a 36 hour delay.

If you're having fun having a go at the Blue Origin flight, please show your reciepts for your similar postings about previous Blue Origin flights, say like Shatner's flight. You know, the all men flights. My memory is terrible and I don't recall a similar reaction.

What a sight that must have been!
Castellanos et al. estimate that water rushed down a drop of more than 1,000 metres (3,000 ft) with a maximum discharge of about 100 million cubic metres per second (3.5 billion cubic feet per second), about 1,000 times that of the present-day Amazon River.

Assembling some Pi5 gubbings and found another Pi 5 failing with no USB or Ethernet, just not there. Powered but not active. Not found anything searching so far, but two with this fail mode seems... wierd.

It's the silliest things that break on the Pi 5 - in this case the clamp on the DSI-1 display connector. Any hints on a simple way to replace it?
A broken connector thingy which wedges a flex cable in place. The leg on one side seems to have gone away (there was no connection wresting incident)

I love everything about this story: Tony Hawk posted a ‘70s era image of a Black girl skateboarding in the rain. Jeremy Markovich tracked her down. www.ncrabbithole.com/p/tony-hawk-...

Tony Hawk wanted to track down a mysterious skateboarder from 1979. We found her.
A photographer snapped a shot of Shaunda Shane skating down her street in Fayetteville when she was 10. How did the world's most famous skateboarder see that picture 45 years later?
