CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 29/09/2026I‘m using ansible, its ergonomics lack a bit, but its still the most flexible thing to date for me 😅 000
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 22/09/2026@t3.gg maybe you’re interested in Simon’s problem for Benchmarking 👍 000
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 21/09/2026Yes, Apple makes that hard sometimes, but in this case it actually works in safari! 😍 010
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 20/09/2026Ah and: obvsly I want to extend this into a medium to full Video transcoding app, so stay tuned für future versions. 🤩 000
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 20/09/2026Mediabunny takes under 10 seconds to transcode the file, The download works and it’s completely local. Thank you for this library and feel free to use this a as „norm scientifc case study“ on your website, if you want 😂👍 211
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 20/09/2026Esp. The download button failure was a dealbreaker: what use is a converter in the browser that can write my converted file into browser memory and not into my gallery?!? 😄😂 So I vibed a solution with a „share“ button with native ios share sheed alongside the download button. And it’s great! 😍 110
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 20/09/2026Mediabunny worked flawless in it!!! I tried this ffmpeg-wasm first: tejaswigowda.com/ffmpeg-webCLI/ But: - it has to load a 31 Mb wasm - is slooooow to convert my 35 sek video (around 10 to 20 minutes on iPhone 13 Pro, if I recall correctly) - the download button does not work in safaritejaswigowda.comffmpeg webCLIA progressive web app for video editing with ffmpeg.wasm. 100% local processing, no data leaves your browser. 110
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 20/09/2026@vanilagy.bsky.social Hey! Wanted to show you my v0.1 of „quicksilver“: my solidjs 2.0 rc PWA for converting video locally in your browser 😄 bjesuiter.github.io/quicksilver/ My usecase was: I had an iPhone video, but it was too big for discord. So I devised this simple PWA.bjesuiter.github.ioQuicksilverCompress iPhone video locally in your browser. 210
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 20/09/2026Thanks Daniel for speaking up. I though „hm, what can I do“. It this post inspired me to check my tools and softwares I use and support to be as anti-faschist as possible and to invest in coding alternatives if possible 030
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 20/09/2026Yayyyyyy 🙌🙈😂 this is a lot harder than it sounds, so; congratulations! 100

CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 14/09/2026Good idea, have liked the idea of storybooks, but like you, I never got around doing it. Also in part because my coworkers were not interested at all 🙈😂 000
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 11/09/2026I would really have liked to be there but I have to fix my personal situation first 😀😅 011
Reposted by CodeMonumentVanilagy @vanilagy.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I'm working on a new library that enables real shared-memory multithreading for JavaScript, natively. Here, the main thread and a worker cooperatively increment a counter. The state object is truly shared between the two threads; no messages are ever exchanged after the initial handshake. 4243
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 08/09/2026Ha, nice one! 😂 I’m currently overhauling my secrets management today so this fits nicely 010
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 31/08/2026Yes, me too. Engineering wise there is some truth to his ideas, like trying to go self-hosting instead of cloud and making this simple. But his anti-human takes are simply horrible. gladly I can replace the small things I’m interested in his software by vibe coding my way out, like kamal 🙂↕️😄 010
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 31/08/2026Ohhh, another piano guys fan! 😍 I accidentally missed my concert for them because of ADHD 🙈🙈 I already had tickets half a year before and then forgot the date since it was so far ahead! So sad! 😭 110

CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 30/08/2026DAX does cross post, but he never reacts there so the content simply feels dead. Also not a satisfying solution 020
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 30/08/2026I thought this „rename“ was a hoax first. This is so stupid 😑 010
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 27/08/2026Yes. Problem is: keeping full control of the codebase basically eliminates every speed advantage you might have from the agent. Real Deal is to set the rules right to control the codebase through the agents, like custom linting 000
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 26/08/2026I stopped writing in apps. I type or dictate into my openclaw via telegram, hopefully some day via my own chat app. So the agent can Nepp memory of my thoughts and solve the problem of recall for me. Structuring my thoughts is still mine, simply without moving files around and copy pasting text 100

CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 24/08/2026Now in feel so badly behind with my agent workflow since I don’t have an ox alpha for auto-coding yet 😀🙈 010

CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 24/08/2026Do you mean „manually“ with pen and paper or is manually on a laptop enough? 100
CodeMonument @codemonument.com · 24/08/2026Uhhh, good idea! I needed something like this some years ago for Instagram posting, but did not find it. Maybe I should build it now for iOS 😂 000

Reposted by CodeMonumentMax @maxwellcohen.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Great article! SolidJS moves into the next era of frontend frameworks with async at the core The eras are: 0) Cross-platform helpers (jquery) 1) object/class components (AngularJS, Vue 1, class-based React) 2) Functional components (React hooks, Solid 1, Vue 3) 3) Async framework (React 19, Solid 2) 1202
