Their spam email handle ends with ".serious". I guess they are very serious and I need to respond to it.

Spam email I received from someone who's handle that ends with ".serious@gmail.com"

Bye bye Google Drive & Micro$lop Onedrive. Now I have 10x more storage than both of you combined and I own it all. Glad I never gave a cent to any of you.

I guess we're in "magic would present its bill" phase of AI

A quote from "Going Postal" by Terry Pratchett: "Oh, you could do it all by magic, you certainly could. You could wave a wand and get twinkly stars and a fresh-baked loaf. You could make fish jump out of the sea already cooked. And then, somewhere, somehow, magic would present its bill, which was always more than you could afford."

It's not that it's plain dumb, but also gets in the way of the results I'm looking for. Why does it have to interpret every search as an AI query 🫠

Adrian Bece @codeadrian.github.io · 28/05/2026

Yeah, it's time to move away from Google, they're just pushing useless trash instead of accurate results 🤮

I'm getting the hang of this. Just a simple four-ingredient bread, but very tasty.

Somehow, a little project I launched & forgot about in 2022 has been quietly gaining traction over the years. I only just discovered that @ohhelloana.blog mentioned it in State of CSS 2025. Thank you! It makes me so happy to see how much love and appreciation my tiny weekend project has received 🥲

Ana Rodrigues' comment on State of CSS website that links to my Fluid Typography tool and says "My 2025 Pick: Font Clamp Generators. My pick of the year is all the font clamp generators that people have been creating and sharing. What’s great about them is that they are all so different so it accommodates different learning styles. Especially, if reading documentation alone doesn’t help understanding how something works."

I found it! Highgate Cemetery is hauntingly beautiful! Also checked out a few other @greenlungband.bsky.social - related spots like Helgi’s and The Black Heart. Whenever I need ideas for hidden gems in London, I just read a interview with Green Lung band members😄

I'm staging in front of the entrance to the Egyptian Avenue in Highgate cemetery in London, wearing a Green Lung band T-shirt with the drawing of the same entrance

@greenlungband.bsky.social Went for a forest walk with my fiancee - the shirt she chose couldn’t have been more perfect for it 💚

Brought my Green Lung shirts to London last year and visited The Black Heart after I saw you mentioning it a few times! Heading back this month and bringing them again. It's becoming a nice little tradition at this rate💚 Hoping to hit both The Black Heart and Helgi's this time around!

Glad you like it! :) I bought the poster edition LP second-hand off Discogs few years back. Last year they reissued Headless Cross as part of the Anno Domini Box Set with slightly different poster. It was limited edition as far as I'm sure you can still find it second hand. Good luck :)

Wish I had more empty walls in my apartment - I've got so many awesome band posters that need to be on display. @greenlungband.bsky.social takes the center stage with "Black Harvest" which is my favorite alongside the original 1989 Headless Cross poster. I need more Green Lung posters in my life 😊

I love web development and working on personal projects because I can create lush and fun stuff like this! ☺️ Green Lung’s page is live on thehorns.club with a cool animation that hides the blur-up effect on the background image! 💚 And a little goaty boi easter egg 🐐

The 🤘 Club is such a refreshing project. It gives me complete freedom to let loose and break away from day-to-day UI patterns, designs and create something amazing. I'm already half-way through creating a page for the next band. Can you guess which one?

Twitter defaults to a "Recommended" feed, prioritizing what it thinks is best for you. Bluesky puts your feed front and center, letting you decide what you want to see. Twitter: "We know what's best for you." Bluesky: "You know what's best for you."

I'm playing around with CSS Scroll Snap to allow users to quickly skip over the large hero section, which takes up the full 100dvh height at the start of the page. I'm almost happy with this config, but I'm not sure if it's good UX. I've never liked scroll hijacking but this doesn’t seem too bad? 🤔

CSS scroll snap code.

html {
scroll-snap-type: y mandatory;
}

body > *:not(header, footer) {
scroll-snap-align: start;
scroll-snap-stop: always;
}

I'm tired from working on the same old, colorless, bland and soulless corporate dashboards? How did you know? A small taste from the upcoming project. I am LOVING the bold & colorful vibe, playful animations and other little bits and pieces I'm putting in.

Exactly! I had to explicitly instruct it to secure the Next.js server function from being accessible from other websites. Developers will have to guide it and supervise it while keeping in mind the larger picture and best practices. It incrementally writes better code with proper guidance.

Thanks for sharing. These are awesome articles behind the iconic covers, didn't know that JP artwork was inspired by naif (naive art) which was also iconic in Croatia in 20th century which had its own unique style. You can see the feel of the "Screaming for" artwork in this Croatian work.

Anthem are my favorite Japanese heavy metal band. Very underrated, by the way. I've managed to get a promo version of the amazing "Tightrope" album from 1986 with a signed card. Really happy about it. A wonderful end to a pretty stressful week, I suppose. www.youtube.com/watch?v=abbw...
