Ireland is set to increase its state pension by €10 a week, taking annual payments to the equivalent of £13,654.98 🇮🇪 The SNP say the move is a 'wake-up call' and shows what's possible when independent countries have full control over their own finances and welfare system 👇

It’s their colonial mindset & failure of our elected Scottish government to call it out that frustrates me so much. If SNP put an official colonial stamp on our predicament, more people would see & support the cause. Reading this ⬇️ Simon was 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 SoS & can’t hide his hatred of devolved governments!

They use their laws & courts to enchain us & stipulate we don't have the right to make our own choices! That is not equality. That is colonial control. No other argument is feasible.

I agree we didn’t play confident football. I think a big reason for that relates to our country accepting its less than other countries with subservience to another. However, I argue Steve did a better job than anyone else could have, and he was improving us. Seems now we won’t even qualify? 🤷‍♂️

Manucobra @cobramanu.bsky.social · 11h
Not true. We won 1, lost 1 narrowly with dubious officiating. We had 3 different defenders make unbelievably stupid mistakes, that Steve could never legislate for. Also, at least we made it to 3 of last 4 major tournaments. What now? I’m not optimistic that’s for damn sure & uk media is delighted.

All I can say is a repeat of what I said on learning Steve Clarke was forced out of his job…unionists will be delighted! No more attendance at major tournaments by the lovable tartan army. We’re back to pre Clarke Scotland failure to even qualify. Picture those vile unionists smiles.

“Honeymoon over as Pocognoli's Scotland suffer domestic disharmony” I said UK media sudden & brutal attack on Steve Clarke seemed politically motivated. It seemed similar to attacks on FMs. His success in getting Scotland to major tourneys with tartan army impact was not what Westminster wanted.

💯🎯 We need consistent process across Celtic Alliance routes to independence. It’s vital the British State playbook is repelled in unison by the 3 nations & we support one another to the end of the process for each. Westminster & media will try to divide to conquer us & we must resist that trap.

The UK's state pension is not generous compared to others in Europe. Older people relying on the state pension have to get by on barely over £1000 a month. Andy Burnham’s plans to end the triple lock are unacceptable, morally wrong and the SNP will stand against them.

Both are treaties between 2 countries. That’s the reality, albeit one governs the other. You classify however you wish. Fundamentally, I ‘think’ we want the same outcome. Ireland to choose, Scotland to choose and Wales to choose without targeted interference from England’s UK state.
