I created a de-escalation training for ALLLL 800ish staff in the agency. Low key- we actually talking about trauma, empathy, compassion, Maslow’s Hierarchy, unconditional positive regard, person first speech, bias, and not everything is personal/about you. Also: Don’t tell people to calm down.
