A dark gray tabby cat named Chunky sleeps curled on a cat tree perch. He lies on a thick, heathered charcoal-gray carpeted pad with a lighter gray fleece edge along its top. His head rests on one front paw, and his eyes appear closed. His body fills most of the left side of the frame, and faint darker stripes show across his fur. His face is in profile, turned toward the right, with a dark ear angled back and a pointed tuft of fur visible at the tip of the other ear. Behind him, the background is pale and washed out, with soft daylight coming through a fine, gray window screen. A dark, blue-gray screen panel fills the right edge of the frame. Dark metal bars of the cat tree frame cut diagonally across the lower left corner and a blurred black post appears near the bottom right. The overall mood is calm and sunny.A dark gray tabby cat named Chunky lies loafed on a cat perch next to a bright window. He rests on a gray fleece pad laid over a thicker charcoal carpet platform, which sits atop a beige sisal-wrapped post. His tucked front paws rest on the edge of the perch, and his head is lowered with eyes closed, facing right toward the window. Faint darker stripes run across his coat, and his ear tips are visible. A pale gray curtain hangs in the upper center, and a wooden shelf sits behind the perch against a muted, olive-gray wall. To the right, a white window screen and a gray window frame let in bright daylight, and beyond the glass a neighboring building and green foliage are visible. A white metal bar cuts across the left foreground, and a gray, textured mat appears at the bottom edge near the base of the post. The lighting is warm and sunny, and the overall mood is peaceful and drowsy.

Implemented a simple red/green indicator system to prevent the trash from being taken out when the bag has plenty of space left. Red = stop, leave the bag alone. Green = good to go outside. #firstworldproblems
A close-up photograph of a desktop waste management organizer positioned on a wooden surface. On the left side is a blue circular icon displaying a recycling symbol with three curved arrows. In the center is an oval toggle switch with a red portion visible on the left side and a black portion on the right side, which hides the green portion of the indicator. On the right side is a black circular icon containing a white illustration of a trash can with vertical lines. The toggle switch serves as a visual indicator: when switched to red, it signals that trash bags are ready to be taken outside; when switched to green (not currently visible), it indicates bags are ready for changing.

Morning naps are some of the best. #cats
A tabby cat with closed eyes rests peacefully on a gray fabric perch positioned against a bright window. The cat's head is tilted slightly downward in a relaxed nap pose, with ears alert and whiskers visible in sharp detail. Sunlight streams through the window behind, creating dappled shadows across the screen and illuminating the cat's striped fur. The scene captures a serene moment of domestic contentment.

The Typinator stats on my work machine are big. It saves me so much time. Typinator is easily one of the top 5 apps I recommend.
Promotional statistics card for the Typinator application, presented on a dark to medium blue gradient background. In the upper left corner is the Typinator logo, a rounded square icon in bright blue containing a white letter T followed by a thin white vertical bar, resembling a text cursor. Beside the icon, the word "Typinator" appears in bold white text. In the upper right corner are three small white sparkle or star icons of varying sizes, suggesting a celebratory or achievement theme.

Below the header, a large headline reads "17.1 days" in bold white and light blue text, with the number in white and the word "days" in light blue. Underneath, smaller gray text reads "of typing saved."

Beneath this headline is a row of three pill shaped badges with icons and statistics. The first badge shows a keyboard icon and reads "2.8M keystrokes saved" in green text. The second badge shows a coffee cup icon and reads "2,458 coffee breaks" in orange or tan text. The third badge shows a walking person icon and reads "1,639 short walks" in white text.

Below this row are two rectangular panels side by side. The left panel contains a lightning bolt icon inside a circle, with the large white number "91.0K" and the gray label "Total Triggers" underneath. The right panel is labeled "TYPINATOR USAGE" at the top, with two small rounded percentage badges reading "68%" in blue and "32%" in green. Below this label is a horizontal progress bar, colored blue for the majority portion and green for the remainder, visually representing the 68 percent and 32 percent split. Underneath the bar are two statistics side by side: "62.0K" labeled "Expansions" and "29.0K" labeled "Corrections."

At the very bottom of the card, a call to action reads "Ready to type less? Try it for free" in white text on the left, and the website address "typinator.com" appears in bold white text on the right.

New traintrackr map is dope.
A printed circuit board shaped and populated to form a wall-mounted LED map of the continental United States, manufactured by a company called "traintrac." The board is dark green and filled with hundreds of individually addressable LEDs arranged in a grid, with unlit LEDs outlining the full country shape and lit LEDs forming a precipitation overlay. A dense cluster of teal-green and white LEDs illuminates the north-central and upper Midwest region, suggesting a large area of active precipitation, while a smaller cluster of orange-red LEDs glows in the southeastern portion of the map, likely indicating a different precipitation type or intensity. Along the top edge of the board, a row of surface-mounted integrated circuit chips and small capacitors spans the width of the map, with a Wi-Fi/microcontroller module in the upper left corner. On the left edge, a status panel shows several small indicator LEDs labeled "Power," "WiFi," "Data," "Error," "A," and "B," with the Power indicator lit blue. Below the status LEDs are two physical push-buttons labeled "Setup" and "Mode." The board rests at an angle on a white textured surface, with a power cable visible at the bottom right corner.

Not bad for an urban sky. NGC 7000.
A deep-space photograph depicting a region of the Milky Way galaxy dominated by dark nebulae silhouetted against a luminous emission nebula. The composition features a striking contrast between bright reddish-pink hydrogen gas clouds and coal-black dust clouds that obscure background starlight. The dark nebulae form dramatic finger-like or tendril structures extending downward and rightward across the frame, creating an almost skeletal appearance. Thousands of stars of varying brightness punctuate the field, with the brightest appearing as distinct points of white and pale blue light. The emission nebula glows with characteristic hydrogen-alpha red wavelengths, indicating active star-forming regions. The lower portion of the image shows particularly dense dust concentrations, while the upper regions reveal more of the underlying star field. The overall effect is one of cosmic turbulence and stellar birth, captured with substantial detail and dynamic range. This type of celestial vista exemplifies the complex interplay between stellar radiation, interstellar dust, and gravitational processes within our galaxy.

My telescope is going outside to do some observing later tonight. I’m excited to take advantage of the warm weather and good visibility.
A detailed weather and astronomy forecast display for Tuesday, July 14, centered on 12:14 PM Pacific Time. The interface presents multiple data layers across a 24-hour timeline from approximately 11 AM to 3 AM the following day.

The top section displays cloud cover conditions as a horizontal bar chart, with darker blue indicating denser cloud coverage. Cloud opacity values are labeled throughout (ranging from kp 1.3 to kp 3.0), showing variable cloud conditions across the forecast period.

Below this lies a sunrise/sunset visualization. A yellow curve with a solid line represents the sun's position, peaking around 20:30 (8:30 PM) with the sun icon indicator. A dotted yellow line shows twilight duration. A white dashed horizontal line marks the horizon, with sunset timing indicated as 21:12 (9:12 PM).

The middle section displays wind direction using circular icons with directional indicators (north, south, east, west vectors), showing predominantly westerly to southwesterly winds throughout the day.

Temperature data appears in two lines: an orange curve showing high temperatures ranging from 77°F to 86°F, and a blue curve displaying low temperatures ranging from 52°F to 66°F. Temperature values are labeled at regular intervals across the timeline.

The left sidebar contains weather and astronomy icons: partly cloudy conditions, an obstruction/visibility icon, sun intensity indicator, sunset icon, wind indicator, temperature gauge, humidity/water droplet symbol, and an information icon.

The interface uses a dark gray background with blue, orange, and cyan accent colors for clarity and distinction between data types.

Good nights of sleep are so rare that I post to social media when they occur. This one felt good.
Screenshot from the AutoSleep app for iOS displaying four sleep metrics from a single night, each shown as a circular gauge with a numerical value at center. All four rings are fully filled, indicating strong performance across every category.

The first metric, Today’s Sleep, shows 10 hours and 6 minutes, representing 126% of the sleep goal — down 46 minutes compared to the 7-day average.

The second metric, Quality Sleep, shows 7 hours and 34 minutes at 95% quality — up 12 minutes from average. Both sleep metrics are displayed with green rings.

The third metric, Heart Rate Dip, shows 61 beats per minute with a 28% dip — a first-place gold medal result, up 1% from the 25% average.

The fourth metric, Deep Sleep, shows 4 hours and 47 minutes, representing 47% of total sleep time — up 30 minutes from average. Both heart rate metrics are displayed with blue rings.

Still growing.
A baby hummingbird sits in a tiny nest built on a slender branch, surrounded by glossy green leaves. The nest, roughly the size of a walnut, is constructed from plant fibers, spider silk, and bits of lichen, giving it a mottled grey-brown texture. The chick faces upward with its thin, pointed beak raised toward the sky. Its downy feathers are pale grey, and the early markings of dark wing feathers are visible along its back. The branch extends horizontally across the frame, with oval leaves partially framing and sheltering the nest. Behind the bird, a light-colored stucco wall is dappled with soft, diffused leaf shadows cast by sunlight filtering through the foliage. The overall lighting is warm and gentle, with the nest positioned near the center of the image.

Apple Weather thinks it’s 68*F in Redwood City. It’s at least 10* hotter. Next Tuesday is going to obliterate high temperature records. #bayarea #baywx
A screenshot from the Carrot Weather app displaying current conditions for Redwood City. The background is a vibrant medium blue with subtle, lighter blue concentric circular arcs radiating from the upper right corner, where a bright yellow half-circle represents the sun peeking into the frame. At the top center, “Redwood City” appears in large, bold white text, with “Right Now” in smaller, lighter gray text beneath it. Dominating the center of the screen is the temperature reading “68°” rendered in very large, bold white numerals. Below the temperature, the app displays one of its signature sarcastic weather descriptions in white text: “An extremely credible source called my secret base and told me it’s sunny right now.” At the bottom center sits the Carrot Weather app icon — a small purple square with rounded corners containing a stylized white cloud with a yellow lightning bolt — followed by the words “CARROT WEATHER” in bold, spaced-out white capital letters. The overall layout is clean and centered, with generous spacing between each element.A screenshot from a weather or smart home dashboard with a muted steel-blue background. At the top center, the heading “My Home” appears in bold white text, with “A moment ago” in smaller, lighter text beneath it indicating when the data was last updated. In the upper left corner is a three-line hamburger menu icon, and in the upper right is a circled information icon, both in white. The main content area features a yellow sun icon on the left side — a filled circle with short radiating lines representing rays — alongside a large white temperature reading of 78.6 degrees on the right, with a small downward-pointing chevron arrow to its left suggesting a tappable element for more detail. Along the bottom of the screen, three weather metrics are displayed in evenly spaced columns: “Pressure” on the left showing 1023 mbar with a small downward chevron indicating a declining trend, “Feels like” in the center showing 79 degrees Fahrenheit, and “Humidity” on the right showing 42 percent. The labels appear in a lighter gray-blue tone while the values are rendered in larger, bolder white text. The overall design is clean and minimal, consistent with the Home Assistant weather card interface.

I have a baby hummingbird outside my window! Looks to be 1-2 weeks old. One more reason to keep my feeders freshly filled.
A tiny baby hummingbird sits in a small, cup-shaped nest perched on a slender branch of a broad-leafed tree. The chick, barely larger than the nest itself, faces slightly upward and to the right, its long, thin beak pointed skyward. Its body is covered in soft, downy grey-brown feathers that have not yet fully developed. The nest is constructed from plant fibers, spider silk, and small bits of lichen or bark, giving it a mottled tan and white appearance with a slightly fuzzy texture. It straddles the branch securely, anchored between several glossy, dark green oval leaves. Some of the leaves show small dark spots or minor blemishes. Behind the nest and foliage, a textured stucco wall — likely the exterior of a building — fills the background in muted grey tones. The lighting is soft and slightly cool, suggesting shade or overcast conditions, with gentle contrast that highlights the delicate details of the bird and its nest.

People are using the fridge at work to dispose of leftover food more often than they eat it. I used Claude to design a custom notepad so that these small-bellied people at least have a reminder at their desk.
A printed notepad slip titled "FOOD REMINDER" in large, bold white text on a vivid orange-red header banner. A subtitle reads "Take this slip to your desk." Below the header, a lighter orange band displays the location: "Floor 29 – Stairway Refrigerator" in bold orange text.

The body of the slip, set against a white background, contains three labeled fields for handwritten input: "Your Name," "Item Stored," and "Date Stored," each with a horizontal line for writing. The Date Stored field includes a placeholder example reading "e.g. Monday June 2."

Below the fields, a section headed "Dispose By — check the day you stored it:" presents five day boxes arranged in a row: MON, TUE, WED, THU, and FRI. Each box contains a small "date" placeholder line at the bottom. The FRI box is visually distinct — it has an orange border and includes the word "deadline" in small orange text beneath the day label, signaling that Friday is the final acceptable day to retrieve food.

At the bottom of the slip, two informational callouts appear side by side. The left callout, labeled "Food Safety" with a circled-i icon, states that leftover food is generally not safe after five days and advises when in doubt to throw it out. The right callout, labeled "Stored on Friday?" with a house icon, instructs the reader to take their food home that same day rather than leaving it over the weekend.

A final rounded rectangle at the very bottom, with a soft orange border and light orange fill, displays a bell icon alongside the prompt: "Set a reminder on your phone or calendar — So you remember to retrieve your food on time."

Fairly certain a lightning bolt just struck the electric substation on Cañada Road. All the lights in the Roosevelt neighborhood just flickered. #bayarea
The image is a screenshot from a lightning tracking application with a prominent yellow theme. At the top, a bright yellow banner displays the app's title, "My Lightning Tracker," with two circular icons on either side: a gear icon on the left and a navigation arrow on the right, both set against a yellow background.

On the upper left, a time and location are indicated as "08:30" with an umbrella icon beside it, suggesting possible weather conditions. Adjacent is a date display, "2/17 Tue," and the signal strength and battery level are shown on the top right.

Below, there are three section tabs: "Latest," "Hotspots," and "Radar," highlighted with yellow, indicating the selected "Latest" tab.

The middle of the image features a satellite map with a view of a highway intersection labeled "CANADA RD" and "I280." The terrain is a mix of green forested areas and lighter green, open spaces. A building complex is visible near the highway.

Three small red dots are scattered on the map, with one dot marked by a large yellow circle containing a black lightning bolt symbol, indicating a recent lightning strike. The dots are approximately 2.8 miles away from Woodside, CA, as shown in the details below the map.

The bottom of the image has a black panel with the information, "Woodside, CA (08:26), 37.46, -122.29 (2.8 miles away),"

I wasn't making progress on a difficult book called The Discipline of Organizing, so I scanned every page, merged them into a PDF, ran OCR, explained to Claude why I originally began reading the book, and then had Claude compose a comprehensive report on every chapter. The result is incredible.
A thick open book is placed on a black scanner mat on a carpeted floor. Behind it, a vertical scanner device stands upright, ready to scan the pages. Cables are visible around the setup, and a person is reflected in a mirrored closet door in the background.

The date "January 30, 2026," and the word "Strava" appear below, suggesting connection to a fitness tracking app.

The background features a captivating visual of a vibrant, oversized sun setting or rising. The sun, positioned slightly to the right of the center, is depicted as a white circle with a bright yellow glow. Surrounding the sun is an orange sky transitioning to darker tones, evoking a tranquil and warm atmosphere. Silhouetted against the sun are the dark, slender shapes of palm leaves, creating a dynamic and tropical scene.

On the right side of the image, there is a small white icon of a cyclist, reinforcing the cycling theme. Beneath this, the word "kineton" is written vertically with two interlocking circles above it, possibly representing a brand or concept related to energy or motion.

At the bottom, statistics are displayed in white text: "Time 19:49," "Distance 10.3 km," and "Elev. Gain 75 m." These specifics provide insight into the cycling session, showing the time, distance, and elevation gain.

Prominently displayed on the windscreen is a yellow vinyl decal featuring a cheerful cartoon cat wearing a cowboy hat, with the word “HOWDY” arched above it in a playful, hand-drawn style font. The cat is depicted in a simple line-art style, standing upright with a friendly expression and a bandana around its neck. Soap suds and water droplets are scattered across both the windscreen and the red bodywork, catching the sunlight. The background is softly blurred but suggests an outdoor setting with pavement and some foliage visible. Over about 6 hours I vibe coded a tool that looks at the work location for each of my teammates and shows when everyone will be in the office every week. The app supports Google OAuth, multiple offices, visitor callouts, auto-refresh, light/dark modes, and even celebrates peoples' birthday.
A dark-themed web app titled “CM Team Office Schedule” shows a week-view grid labeled “Week of January 5 – January 9, 2026.” The main area is divided into five vertical columns for Monday through Friday, each headed with the weekday name and date. Under each day, stacked rows list individual teammates, with their names blurred and each row paired with a colorful emoji (such as sun, fire, sports balls, animals, or objects) that likely represents the person or type of day in the office. The density of rows varies by day, and a small label at the bottom of each column summarizes how many people are scheduled to be in the office that day (for example, “5 people,” “12 people,” “10 people,” “9 people,” and “1 person”). A bright orange header bar across the top includes the app name on the left, a small calendar-style icon, a “Last updated: 1:17 AM” timestamp on the right, and a circular user/profile icon. Centered under the header is the week range, and on the right side is a “Next Week →” button to navigate forward. The schedule panel sits on a colorful blurred gradient background, emphasizing that this is a screenshot of a modern, visually rich office-attendance planning tool.

Purple LED lighting creates colorful reflections on the metal.

You know you've got a comfortable seat on your motorcycle when...
A small orange tabby cat named Barnacle sits comfortably on a red motorcycle in a garage setting. The cat is positioned on the black leather seat, looking alert and relaxed with its fluffy coat clearly visible. The motorcycle appears to be a touring or sport-touring model with red fairings and black accents, featuring text that reads "NO GODS NO MASTERS" on the side panel. The garage environment shows yellow industrial-style shelving units in the background, with various stored items including bags, equipment, and what appears to be binoculars on the shelving. The concrete floor and organized storage setup suggest this is an active workspace. The lighting creates good contrast, highlighting both the cat's orange fur and the motorcycle's glossy red finish against the garage's industrial backdrop.A small orange tabby cat named Barnacle lounges comfortably sprawled across a red motorcycle's black leather seat in a garage. POV when I turn around after brushing my teeth. #cats
A tabby cat named Chunky sits confidently on top of a waste bin in a room bathed in atmospheric blue lighting. The cat, with distinctive striped markings, gazes directly at the camera while perched on what appears to be a white or light-colored waste receptacle. The ambient blue lighting creates a moody, almost cinematic atmosphere throughout the space, casting everything in cool tones and creating dramatic shadows. In the background, various household items and furniture are visible in the dim lighting. On the floor near the waste bin sits a woven basket. The lighting gives the scene an artistic quality, transforming an ordinary moment of a cat claiming an unconventional perch into something more visually striking. Chunky appears completely comfortable and unbothered by their choice of resting spot, displaying the typical feline confidence in making any surface their personal throne.

Started the weekend by mistakenly deleting my entire project and thinking it was over. Ended the weekend with payments working in a sandbox environment! Major turn around. Handling payments is not simple at all. Still feels like I'm at least 1 month away from anyone using the website.
Screenshot of the Happy Cats pet care booking website displaying a successful payment confirmation. The dark-themed interface shows a "Your Booking Details" modal dialog overlaying the main scheduling page. On the left sidebar, there are pending booking requests listed for various dates in September. The main modal shows a confirmed booking for September 8, 3:21 AM with visit details for October 30-31, 2025. The booking includes 3 visits (3x30 minutes each) for pets named Picante, Mimosa, Chunky, and Barnacle. A visit schedule grid displays time slots with "AM" and "PM" options marked. The payment information section prominently shows the transaction as "Paid" with a total cost of $75.00 ($75.00 for 3×30-minute visits, $0.00 for 0×60-minute visits). At the bottom are action buttons including "This booking has been confirmed" (with checkmark), "Cancel Booking" (red button), and "Request Changes" (blue button). The interface demonstrates a fully functional booking and payment system for pet care services.

I need a two-story mouse pad. First level would be the pad for my mouse. Second would be a place for Mimosa to hang out. #cats

Captured M27 last night from my patio. Every time I pull my telescope out I find myself falling asleep sitting upright in my office chair. It’s hard staying up late.
A stunning deep-space photograph of the Dumbbell Nebula (M27), showing a distinctive turquoise and pale red planetary nebula with an oval, hourglass-like shape at the center of the frame. The nebula glows brightly against a dark background filled with numerous stars of varying brightness and colors, from white to orange to blue. The nebula’s central region appears brighter and more defined, with wispy, colorful gas clouds extending outward in the characteristic dumbbell formation that gives this celestial object its name.

I love my spool stool. Great stool. Definitely not a table. yetch.studio/products/spo...
This is the Spool Table - a clever piece of furniture that combines form and function as both a side table and floor lamp with hidden storage capacity.
Designed to look like an oversized thread spool, this whimsical yet practical piece features a solid aluminum needle (the black rod running through the center) and is wrapped in color-matched red braided cable. The image shows the red version of the table, which also comes in green and blue options.
The genius of this design lies in its hidden functionality - the top section lifts off to reveal storage space inside, perfect for stashing cushions, blankets, or other items you want to keep accessible but out of sight. The interior is lined with fabric that matches the exterior cable wrapping.
This particular model is set up in the corner of a bedroom, with the integrated lighting element visible via the Edison-style bulb hanging from the red cord. The Spool Table is designed for versatile placement in lounges, studies, or bedrooms, offering both ambient lighting and convenient storage while serving as a conversation piece that playfully references the world of textiles and craftsmanship.

I published my first Firefox theme! Hope you like orange. addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo... #firefox
A Firefox browser window displaying a new tab page with a serene sunset/sunrise background image showing calm water reflecting golden sunlight and purple-pink clouds. The time "19:10" is prominently displayed in large white text in the center, with "Redwood City" and "76°" with a sun icon below it indicating the weather.

On the left side is an orange sidebar labeled "Sidebery" containing a "New Tab" option and various navigation icons. The browser's main menu is open on the right side, showing an orange dropdown menu with options including "New tab," "New window," "New private window," "Bookmarks," "History," "Downloads," "Passwords," "Extensions and themes," "Print," "Save page as," "Find in page," "Translate page," "Zoom" (set to 100%), "Settings," "More tools," "Report broken site," and "Help." Each menu item includes keyboard shortcuts.

The browser tab bar is visible at the top with multiple colorful tabs open. At the bottom of the image, there's attribution text reading "Photo, feng haha, Unsplash." The overall design uses a warm orange color scheme that complements the golden sunset imagery in the background.

I'd really like to see Mohammed Ben Sulayem removed as FIA president, but when I saw how Tim Mayer mounts his microphone to a video tripod for interviews, I lost faith in him. Almost everything about that setup is wacky. His audio sounds great though... #F1
The image shows Tim Mayer, candidate for FIA president, seated indoors in a well-lit room. He is dressed formally, wearing a navy suit jacket, a checked light blue shirt, and a red pocket square. He sits in front of a microphone mounted on a tripod, with an additional pop filter attached, suggesting a professional or interview setting.

Background Details
- A window with floral-patterned curtains lets in natural light from the left side of the image.
- The wall behind has two framed pictures, one of which depicts a coastal or island scene.
- There is a table to the right, holding a lamp with a beige shade, a red lanyard with a "VIP" badge, several photo frames, and other small personal or decorative items.
- The setting conveys a comfortable, organized environment suitable for business video calls or interviews.

Tim Mayer presents a professional appearance, with attention to detail in his attire and the arrangement of his recording setup, reflecting the seriousness of a candidate for a major motorsport administrative role.

I built a Chrome extension called Snap Scroll Redux. It allows you to easily and gracefully scroll down pages. I've submitted it to the Chrome Web Store and it's pending approval. You can get a preview by downloading and installing it manually: drive.google.com/file/d/1osEA...
A screenshot of the "Snap Scroll Redux" extension settings panel. It describes two scrolling modes: "Snap Scroll" (hold left and right click) and "Next Paragraph" (middle click any paragraph). The extension can be enabled or disabled with a toggle switch shown as "Extension Enabled." Instructions for Snap Scroll Mode list: holding the left mouse button, right-clicking the scroll point, and having that point move to the top of the window. For Paragraph Navigation, users are told to middle-click on any paragraph to jump to the next one. Additional notes state that a blue dot appears when the left mouse button is held, and the extension works on all websites. The interface uses a blue and white color scheme with bullet points and numbered circles for clarity.

Chrome upgrades are killing my favorite extensions. The thought of using AI to recreate the best ones had me wondering if that was possible. Turns out it is! I present to you Favicon Customizer v1.0! Click on the extension to customize a page or domain's favicon. Super clean, super easy. I love it.

I use Audio Hijack to boost the volume on Formula 1 torrents where the original audio is too low to hear. Ideally I'd use a video player to do this, but none of them, including VLC, allow boosting beyond 200%. Audio Hijack supports going well beyond that. rogueamoeba.com/audiohijack/
Screenshot of the Audio Hijack application on a Mac, displaying a session titled "Boost IINA volume." The session visually shows an audio processing chain from left to right: the "Application" block (set to IINA, a video player), followed by two "Volume" blocks (each set to 200%), a "Magic Boost" block (turned on), and an "Output Device" block (set to Default System Output). The right sidebar contains session information, including the title, notes stating "Egortech records audio at too soft of a volume," and settings for automatic connections, auto run, and sample rate. At the bottom, a status bar indicates the session is running, with an elapsed time of 1:49, a volume level meter, and a "Stop" button. The interface is set against a purple and pink gradient macOS desktop background.

The Chrome extension Disable All Extensions has a feature called Isolation Mode which makes it a cinch to figure out what extension is causing trouble on the website you're trying to use. I use this feature so much that if I had to pay for it, I'd be broke. chromewebstore.google.com/detail/disab...
