Stole a load of hollyhock seeds from outside a church.

This looks pretty gross, not gonna lie. The seeds are in these furry husks which are opening and the seeds falling out. All a bit damp so it’s on some kitchen paper.

Have you considered a secondary fridge, especially for ferments? Stops everything fizzing and tasting of kimchi in the main fridge too.

This worked really well! I made lots of holes in the hose with an awl and its irrigating the beds really nicely.

I need to get some more valves and things but the plan to connect the IBC to fill the pond and irrigate the flower beds with bits of old hose, is starting to come together.

Today’s installment of my glamourous and exciting rock’n’roll lifestyle was us making a tripartite compost bin at the community garden, out of pallets we’d found on the street.

“Where are you going dressed all sexy?” my neighbour asks. “Nisa” I tell her. Buoyed up by her comments, I spash out on the £3.99 truffle flavour crisps in there, which my husband and I have just ate on the balcony.

Plants growing off other plants are called epiphytes, and are the sign that you’re in a rainforest. At Cwm Gwaun is a fragment of what should be a massive Celtic Rainforest, spanning western Britain’s uplands.

Disgusting entitlement of these parents, to take their children to a beautiful, natural place, and give them pens to graffiti all over it. It took 20 minutes for us to lob dozens of graffiti’d rocks under the high tide line.

We have some home made eclipse-viewers to be on the safe side.
